I have a zip and I really like it. I keep it clipped to my pocket or waistband. It reminds me to keep moving. Besides what everyone else has said I also like the weekly report that summarizes everything from the week before.

Every time I was successful losing weight in the past I kept track of my calories with paper, pencil and a big thick calorie book. This site makes it sooooo easy!!! I am committed though to the idea that I may have to keep doing this for the rest of my life to stay healthy!

Best to weigh the meat off the bone. The bone doesn't count though that is where a lot of the flavor comes from.

Congratulations you look great!!! Now take time to go in a store and try on clothes and really look at yourself. You don't have to buy anything, just learn what you like and what looks good. You have a whole new body and it take time to see yourself for real!

Today the weather service said that this is the 2nd snowiest winter for us. The only one that was worse was in 1952. We have to have about 25 more inches. I'm happy with what we've got!!!!

I know what you mean. My back yard is a flood plain!!! I am hoping it melts slow! But with temperatures in the minus category it isn't happening soon!! We just got back from Tucson. We went from -12 to 90 and then back to -12 in about 10 days!!!! It was nothing but a big tease!

I really like a shot or 2 of good gin with clamato juice. Garnish with a couple of cooked shrimp and a blue cheese stuffed green olive!!! Not only a drink but a snack!

Since you want to be in control of it. You need to plan for it. Figure it into your calories everyday and have something. I allow myself 1or 2 pieces of chocolate at the end of the day. The thought that I can have that keeps me from eating more than I should at other times.

Oh, my gosh, this made me so laugh!!!! We had a power outage last night and I ate crumbs of triscuits and tried to count every last little bit!!!! In the dark!!!

Learn to do some kind of hand craft like knitting or crochet or cross stitch. Keep your hands busy. It helps!!! :bigsmile:

I've logged and managed to at least stay under maintenance though that may yet change as there is a Christmas cookie with my name on it sitting on the counter saying "eat me"!!

My name is Linda and I am a chocoholic! I buy high quality chocolate like Godiva or from a local shop that hand makes their chocolate. I have some every night. It is the promise of that chocolate that keeps me from binging on everything else!!!

My attitude at events that feature food are: it better taste fantastic to be worth my calories. So that means if it is the ordinary I don't choose it. I want to spend my calories on items that are luscious. Notice I am still counting everything. Sometimes I go over but it was worth every bite! Good eating and have fun…
