7, with 3 more in mind. But the next 3 are large enough I have to plan time for them (and funds).

An average guinea pig does not weigh only a pound. Usual is 2-3 pounds.

Close to $200 a week, for myself and three teenagers. This also includes pet food, and we have a large (80 lb) dog, two cats, two guinea pigs, and other assorted. The dog and cats get the no grain dry kibble as well, so kind of pricey but they are doing well on it.

I'll try. In for 40. I'll work on getting the ticker up by Friday.

Cool water on my feet (I've got a removable shower head), and when I've cooled down a little I continue with a lukewarm shower. Not hot, but only putting cool water on my feet.

Well, I'm in California so the only way I can beat the heat is to run really early in the morning or really late at night. I'm not happy in the mornings, so I do all my running late at night. By late, I mean 1 in the morning. So waiting until 5 am is a decent hour for many.

Graduate student in biochemistry, but teaching undergrad chemistry (to mostly nurses) at the same time. Yes, during the school year it is much harder to find time to work out, especially between lesson plans, grading, and doing my own homework.

I had Lasik done 15 years ago. My eyesight was bad enough that if I put my glasses down, I needed glasses to find them again. I'm very glad I had it done. I had no astigmatism and thick corneas, so my risks later in life should still be acceptable. I have 20/20 vision, no problem with needing reading glasses, and while I…

I am trying not to weigh myself every week, I was freaking out about the scale not going down enough. I'm trying to only weigh myself once a month, but to be very diligent about inputting food and exercise. My pants are fitting looser, so that's a good sign. I would take a pound a week loss, if it was consistent. We'll see.

Yup, also 50+ pounds to go. I'm a bit older though, I just turned 40. I'm making an effort to be on every day and I am logging everything I eat. Please feel free to add me also.

Turning 40 this year, is that close enough? Feel free to add me too.

Mom to 3 teenagers, and I just hit 39. I've set the goal for myself to be in decent shape by 40, so we'll see. I'm trying to change close to 3 decades of bad eating habits and triggers, but it's becoming a sustainable habit. Feel free to add me, I'm on every day even if I don't say much.

Considering that 140 is my goal weight, I think I'll be ecstatic when I get there. I haven't been below 160 since high school; 20 odd years ago. The 25 pounds that I have lost have sent me to the 180's, and a smaller pant size than I've been in decades. I think it's the heavy weights, I'm definitely changing shape. Yeah,…

I had an honorary uncle growing up whose sister had the surgery. It went alright for the first couple of years, but then she had continuing pain and trouble eating. The doctors tried to fix it, but it never got better. Shortly after her daughter graduated high school the lady killed herself because she couldn't take living…

I try not to worry about it, in fact my dr. said that eating more salt might help raise my blood pressure. *Might*, being the operative word. If I go over on one day, I drink water the next. I even saw an article in the newspaper the other day that extremely low sodium intake actually causes more harm long term. Something…
