Hey, Thanks. I'm a composer, mainly for theatre. Do some MD work with local groups too - a community choir, kids theatre groups, etc.

That's interesting and a good idea, thanks Lizzy. I suppose the last few months I sort of have been finding my 'normal' in that I've basically stayed the same but +/- a bit. I suppose it's probably good to get to know what that is and also to show you can live 'normally' and maintain :)

Thanks both of you. I never heard of GymPact, shall check it out. Immab - I think you're right, my "reason" has changed. A year ago I was overweight to a point that meant I got out of breath just keeping pace walking into town with my housemate. I'm a musician and I felt very conscious about performing and teaching. I had…

Wow, you're doing fantastic!! I'm down 82lb now but I sorta wanna wait a little longer before posting pics. I think I have about 28lb to go but it sorta depends how it feels.

Aw, congratulations you two, and that's a very cute picture! I'm Matt, 29, from Oxford, England. I'm a freelance musician and editor, and do quite a mixed bag of work, though my ambition is to make the majority of my income from composition and songwriting. I write for theatre and also do music direction, choral direction,…

Geek Love by Katherine Dunn. One of the most disturbing things I've ever read.

Hey - UK here and I log daily... for better or for worse! Feel free to add me. Matt

Challenge start weight: 207.5 Current weight: 194 Went well: Varied my run routes a bit and used my bike a little. Oh and cooked a nice healthy stew! Next week: Try a new recipe.

Challenge start weight: 207.5 Current weight: 193.5 Went well: Back running again after resting my back for a bit. Did a sneaky extra run today as it was so sunny. Next week: COOK MORE. Though I'm staying within my cals my fat has been quite a bit over and I've not been eating enough veg. Been very busy and so having…

Hah, whoa, I only just spotted this. Well part of my success was down to buying some new scales ;). Also I probably have more to lose than a lot of you. If we were doing this by bodyweight percentage it might not look so impressive....x

Challenge start weight: 207.5 Current weight: 195 Went well: More or less stuck to my calorie target despite having to rest as have been a bit under the weather. Now under 14st for the first time in a long time. Next week: Just keep on keeping on I think.

Challenge Starting Weight: 207.5 lb Current Weight: 197 lb One thing that went really well this week: Did my first 'public' group 5k run (with Leila!) and also continued with running though the couch-to-5k has ended. What you will be doing next week: Find time to do some more cooking - get some fresh veg back into my diet,…

FINISHED! I did the final 51-min session and ran the whole thing, just over 7.5k without stopping(!!!!). I think it's a shame the final session doesn't use the GPS to make it an actual 5k. But excited to start the main app. I think I'll do the first mission on Thursday :D

requested also :)

Not dumb! I had to use a random image hosting site to do it: postimage.org. Gives you a link to post on a forum!

Challenge starting weight: 207.5lb Current weight: 199lb** One thing that went well this week: Have finished my couch-to-5k training!! One reason why you want to lose weight: I want to enjoy shopping for clothes and just pick anything I want. (Not just 'whatever fits' and dress to hide...) ** BUT I got new scales because…

Today I ended up running to this place for supplies... Full image: http://s17.postimg.org/3k62faefz/IMG_1173.jpg (PS. If this building was in a zombie apocalypse movie it'd look super cheesy. But this is actually on one of my runs, ha ha!)

Hi there, I had the same problem (crashed on unlocking) on Monday, and I emailed support who are aware of the issue (to do with iOS7 presumably). Today I didn't have a problem at all. Well I did, the GPS cut out, but that happens occasionally when I run under a bridge (if I don't go fast enough!? haha). But yeah probably…

Yes, congrats! Do you use RunKeeper and Zombies, Run! simultaneously? How?

Is it any good? I'm a bit put off by the opening disclaimer that the author has no qualifications, etc. There's already somewhat of an information overload online from reputable sources, so I'm a bit wary.

Mm, I'm a bit anxious about the weather! My plan is just to keep going and try to pick days/times that don't look too bad. So far it's not been too rainy here. I've bought a long-sleeve running tshirt and a thin jacket thing to wear on top too... I don't really want to join a gym if I can help it as I've found it so much…

Challenge Starting Weight: 207.5 Current Weight: 205.5 One thing that went really well this week: Continuing with couch-to-5k (week 7 of 8) and think I worked pretty hard. What you will be doing next week: Thinking more about whether I'm actually hungry or not (more mindful). Like yesterday I earned loads of cals back from…

But Season 1 doesn't give you any structure, right? It's entirely free running, or, if you turn on the chases, the randomly you have to increase your speed for a period of time? So if I wanted to follow a programme which included intervals, I'd just have to figure it out using the timer?

OH and the other day - I think it was Week 6, Session 3 - I was running along the tow path by the river and a BIG TREE had fallen and completely blocked the path. I was being chased by zombies in-game but I wasn't quite brave enough to attempt to hurdle/vault the tree, as there were other people around, haha... Also when…

I run outdoors and am loving it! I'm on week 7 of C25K and I feel like the areas I run really are Abel, hah. I deliberately run fairly lonely routes where I only see occasional joggers and dog-walkers, as it's less fun to make-believe if you're just on the high street. I live near a river, so I run in the meadows around…

That is helpful! Thanks for sharing, and congrats on graduating and continuing running. Good to know the Zombies story is good! I suppose my fear is that without a structure, and going into the winter months, my enthusiasm could dwindle. Right now I'm feeling really positive, so hopefully not...! M

Just started Week 7! It looked easy on paper, until I realised the first three sections after the warm-up walk have no breaks inbetween, so it's basically a fifteen minute run with some skipping. Was pretty hard work!!
