On days i don't want to go to the gym I bring something to read that I can get lost in and set whatever machine on for either 45 min or 600 cals depending how much time i want to spend at the gym. Before you know it the time is up. I did this all week and burned between 400-600 cals on the elipitical. hope this helps

i burn about 700 cals a day at the gym except wednesdays. i spend 30-45 minutes on the elipitical and burn between 400-700 cals. Then I run every other day after that. On thurdays I have a 45 min walk to work that burns cals on that day.

I'm not a big breakfast person during the week becuase i'm in college and my classes start before the caf even opens....i really like a protien shake and a piece of fruit or some cheese.

I suggest putting your alarm clock on the other side of the room. It forces you to get up to shut it off and well youre already out of bed which is the hardest part.

I'm a college student at one of the largest campuses in the US so I totally log my time spent walking to class carrying my 20lb backpack but any other walking, shopping included, I don't log.

I'd listen to your body. If you're hungry and have calories from exercising go a head and eat. If you aren't hungry don't eat them. Just don't go over your calories. I tend to eat some of mine back if I workout or if I know im going out that night I'll workout more to counteract the damage I could do on a night out.

You could always use a lot of the fruits that go "bad" in another way. bananas make for great pancakes if you add an egg to them (look for recipes online) apples can be turned into applesauce by simmer them with water on the stove (no added sugar is a plus) if berries get to soft you can add them to the applesauce or make…

I really like greek chocolate yogurt. It tastes and has close to the same texture as cheesecake but for only 100 cals! sometimes ill put something crunchy with it. I also do a chocolate protien shake blended with ice and yogurt for a "milkshake" or forzen yogurts.

I found that cutting out carbs such as pasta, breads, and rice is helping me a lot. I'm still eating the complex carbs found in fruit and vegetables, but I don't feel so weighed down which helps me push harder at the gym.
