  • Every time I or my husband have been in a plateau, we eat just 100-200 calories more each day, and the plateau stops, and we started losing weight again. I would suggest that you try that for a while and see what happens.
  • The first picture was taken October 2012. So from then until now. 8 months or so.
  • Since it is so difficult for you to get to the gym, why don't you bring the gym to your place?! I'm going to be joining a challenge group in a little bit, and it's all at-home exercise. If you want, I can send you the info about it. Think about it: no gym memberships, daily motivation from other people with similar…
  • It sounds like a challenge group would be beneficial to you; it's daily motivation from people going through what you're going through! I'm in one right now, and there are two people in the group who are taking medication for depression, so sometimes it's really hard to keep them going; but since it's a GROUP effort, we…
  • I would say do TurboFire first; since it has a bit of strength training in it too, which will help you build up to be able to do Chalean Extreme. :)
  • This is what I've discovered: The more muscle I have, the quicker the fat leaves.
  • I would suggest TurboFire. There's jumping jacks and other high-impact exercises, but they have one girl who does ONLY low-impact exercises that gives the same results. I've done it before, and it's so much fun! It's part-cardio, part-kickboxing, part-zumba. It's high energy fun! I'm always in such a good mood after I've…
  • I would say TurboFire; cardio, kickboxing, zumba, all in one program. I've done it and I love it!
  • You can totally do TurboFire. As Merci444 said, they show two options: low intensity and high intensity. The low intensity girl even does modified jumping jacks! You will do awesome with this program; I had a lot of fun with it. :)
  • I think for women, that is one of the last places the fat leaves the body. Have you also tried a cleanse or detox? That might help, if your colon needs to be cleaned out... (TMI?)
  • Well, I've lost 30 lbs eating around 1500 calories a day (sometimes more, sometimes less - I'm not too strict about it) since October 2012. But I've also been working out almost every day too.
  • In my opinion (I'm not a nutrition expert by any stretch of the imagination), it may help with your digestion, clearing your colon of the bad fats, which could make it look like you lost belly fat. Does that make sense to anyone else?
  • I weigh myself once a week, since your daily weight changes so much from day to day.
  • If you're looking for weight loss, then I would suggest that you don't eat them back. I'm not a trainer or nutritionist or anything, but that's what I'm doing, and that's what has been working for me. I honestly don't like how MFP adds the calories from your workout to your daily calorie allowance.
  • I've been there, and I found it really hard to get down below the 200 lbs mark. But now I'm at 179 lbs and slowly going down.
  • Hey! I've been over the 200 lbs mark, and it is a pretty hard number to climb down from; but that could have been a mental issue for me. It's so easy to lose weight, eh? I have about 30 lbs to lose; maybe we can keep each other accountable! You can "friend" me on Facebook, if you like. (www.facebook.com/teamburnitca)
  • My favourite BY FAR is TurboFire. The beats are awesome, the energy in the "class" is amazing, and I feel it for the rest of the day (in a good way). My husband has been wondering where his complaining, grouchy wife went, since I'm almost always in such a great mood! lol
  • I don't have a playlist, but I do love working out to the Black Eyed Peas. I didn't really like their music until I began working out to it.
  • Well, you first have to think about what your end goal is. I'm assuming it's to lose weight and inches and build muscle? Next, you have to ask yourself what you are willing to change to get there. If you want to get results quickly, you will want to do what my husband has done (he's lost over 90 lbs in the last 11 months).…
  • I haven't actually had this in about 6 months, but Lucky Charms. About 3 bowls of it.
  • Yeah, my sister and brother-in-law have decided to go sugar and wheat free. I'm beginning to see how people can do it and why they would do it. I'm at the home stretch of a cleanse which suggests that I eat mostly fruits and vegetables. Only some grains, like quinoa. But I do still put sugar in my tea. Even though it's…
  • I think it totally is a realistic goal! But it seems like since the weekend is the most difficult time for you (do you go out with friends a lot during this time?), maybe if you could tell them about your goal, and ask them to keep you accountable. It's one thing to have people online in a community of like-minded people…
  • I'm totally there with you... but I'm at 30 lbs to lose. But I'm starting a 90 day workout challenge with a bunch of friends next week, so I'm hoping that will get me there. My goal is 30 lbs in 90 days. Too high a goal, maybe?
  • yuck. I don't eat it. lol!
  • "Or is it more beneficial to take that $100/mth and put it towards fruit/veggies?" I get what you're saying. $100 a month is pretty high for people on a limited budget. The way my husband and I are thinking about it is that what is in Shakeology is about $41 worth of fruits and veggies in one day's shake. Many people…
