I had problems with my bipolar meds and weight a few times. Depakote and zyprexa. My new plan is to closely monitor my weight anytime a med changes or is added, and if I notice a decent amount of weight gain, I call my psychiatrist and immediate being to go off the med. 5'7" 239lbs I'm between a 14/16. Most of my weight on my midsection though.

Sometimes generic ideal weight ranges don't take into account body frame size. You could search for, and calculate your body frame size and that will give you a ideal weight range.

It may be low calorie for now but 1300 will be a high calorie intake after surgery.

I like cliff, cliff builders, Luna, and kind bars. I don't think the kind bars are protein bars really but they sell them with the protein bars. They satiate me quite well.
