I am 43 and have successfully used MFP about 4 years ago when I lost about 30lbs. Since then my kids have started to move out, depression has kicked in and well....now it's time to start doing something for myself. I am about 180 now and 5'8. I want to try to take off about 40 but if I can get yo a place I am feeling…

I have to leave the room when I hear this....it is a mantra in the office I work in. People use it to end a conversation when they can't think of anything else intelligent to say. Grrrrr :explode:

Today is my 1 year MFP anniversary, I started with the first 30 days doing the shred. I lost 13 lbs and truthfully don't remember the total inches but I felt very happy with the results. If you stick with it, you will definatly not regret it! Best of luck to you!

These things do hang with us for life, don't they? I am 39 now but remember when I was dating a boy when I was 15 maybe 16 who thought it was appropriate to call me TANTOR.....for those of you who don't know Tantor is Tarzans elephant. As a teen I was mortified, humilated and so disgusted. As an adult it makes me angry…

HOLY MACKREL!! You look Amazing!!! So inspiring!!

I agree, 30 day shred is a good quick workout. I don't like long workouts either but I like to work out. I just schedule in the 30 minutes every evening. It's a good burn for the short amount of time. Also, try the HIT workouts from Turbofire. Very hard workouts but super intense!

Totally agree!

It was great! I loved the roasted veggies, and ate more than I should have while prepping but yummm! Also, note to self, do not make this on the hottest day of the year with no A/C! :)

Looks absolutely wonderful just the way it is but I live with a meat eater so I am making this for dinner tonight with lean ground turkey also! Yum, I cannot wait!
-
You look fabulous!!

Well I tried but didn't quite make my goal, I am sure if I hadn't worked today I could have made it. Maybe I will try again one day next week when I am off for vacation. Calories in.. 1140... Calories out 715. Great job everyone who was able to work it out!

Run Forest Run!! To burn 1200 cals, I am going to have to really step it up...so maybe a run in the morning and in the evening. Maybe some Shred too :) Looking forward to it :)
