I think I did okay for 1 week. I'm go to try level 3 this evening. But I'm not going to measure anything until the 30 days are over.

I'm just breezing through the exercises now. I have the DVD playing on the computer while watching something else on television. Reruns of RuPaul’s drag race are my favorite shows to watch while exercising.

The knee circles, 3 different types of squats that were followed by side lunges in level 1 did the number on my knees. Besides the knee discomfort, I barely hit 60% of my MaxHR.

I previously tried two days of level one and it was murder on my knees. So I switched to level two and didn't experience the discomfort. Hopefully, this time I can do 30 days. I'll start this evening. Good Luck all.

Sure I'm in. I'll do the initial weight in and measurements. However, I'll get discouraged if I do weekly measurements. I've already dropped 20 pounds and barely lost 1 inch. Uggh. Please feel free to friend me.

SW: 184 CW: 164 GW: 149 Goals: 1) Not get discouraged. (down 20 lbs didn't drop 1 inch.) :grumble: 2) Work harder at toning. 3) Take time to plan meals in advance.

This is my first weigh in. Thanks for the inspiration. SW: 184 CW: 167 GW: 149 (or any weight falling in the "normal" BMI category. Who invented this scale anyway?) Goals: 1. Complete JM's 30 Day Shred 2. Better meal planning (I eat the same thing every day. Boring!) 3. Inspire my beau and children
