I've had two back surgeries and was left with numb toes. I've been taking a weekly yoga class for many years now and I would highly recommend trying that. The numb toes are mostly gone now, though it did take awhile for them to feel better. Someone did mention stretching, and that helps as well. Good luck!

You might try putting your legs up against the wall after exercising, or every day right before going to bed. That helps get that lactic acid generated by exercise out of your muscles. I also found this article that might help. http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/why-does-lactic-acid-buil/

For those who have mentioned not using coffee creamer, I've substituted So Delicious coconut creamer. It's got a richer taste than skim milk but 0 fat. Jump by Van Halen. It always makes me want to move! For suggestions, there is a great site called run hundred.com. You do have to give an e-mail address to get the playlists, but it's a great resource. All kinds of suggestions and the beats per minute also very, from fast to slower. Check it out.

My sympathy. Anyone who has not had a pet just doesn't understand. Our shepherd mix died unexpectedly 18 years ago and I still miss him. It does get easier, hang it there.

I cut the cake in half after microwaving on the 123 cake, then use 2 TB cool whip on one half and 2 TB cool whip frosting on the other half. Satisfies that cake craving quite nicely.

Chinese is a favorite for me. My research showed that the dishes with lighter sauces are less calories, and ones with more vegetables than meat. Fried items are not as healthy. Ask if brown rice is available rather than white rice. Or, just have a bit less than you would have in the past! Drink lots of tea, that will help…
