My legs feel itchy, like a static tingle when I´m on the treadmill. I have to bend to rub them every so often.

Thanks, Missy!

You´re welcome! :) Oh, and if you want the most basic tips, they´re posted in January, of course, when I started. I had to get more creative to think up the last ones.

You do need it, but I just got a health exam and I´m fine so far, and I´ve been having a lot less than 1500 usually. I know that people that are on high blood pressure sometimes have trouble with their sodium being too low once in a while. Your cells need sodium. I understand that you should try to get natural sodium, not…

2500 is the max, and I think you´re fine with 1700. 1500 is a low-sodium diet. I know I get less now. I´m trying to figure out if I should raise it to 1500.

Welcome, and you should be excited! You´ll get a lot done on here! :)

Putting just an eency weency bit, might work, too, making do with almost no dressing....
-
I just go without it! But there are options such as just adding vinegar, for example, or low-fat yogurt, fresh herbs....

carrots, water, chocolate have always been my friends. Baked breaded chicken, gazpacho and lentils are my new friends.

At first: hitting rock bottom motivated me. Second: I was motivated to keep my public commitment, to write a tip each day and have to say whether I was sticking to my commitment or straying from it. I was determined to keep writing and stick to the diet, and have no "special" days (because special days get out of hand and…

There´s another article that mentions an experiment, where they found out that people will eat more, if they are served more. That is probably why serving sizes in restaurants have increased. Here is the link: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/30tips/view/conspiracy-theory-85444

I'm really not sure what the right answer is. All I can tell you is that at the beginning I used to have less than the 1200 calories I'm supposed to have, and lost weight. (In fact I was under the impression that if I ate anymore I was gaining weight--however it might have been solely due to the time of day in which I ate…

I look at it like a good exercise--even if one mistake is no big deal, you can learn the most from it, and in that way you can stop it from happening over and over. (At Christmastime, for example, every day is a special day, and you quickly gain weight because you tell yourself it's special which for some reason gives one…

Haha, I have several sections of my blog dedicated to strategies of what to do when you eat out with other people.... that's one of the toughest things to do. My blog is: www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/30tips The best strategies for me are: to not drink sugary beverages (that leaves more calories available), go prepared (log…

I've been keeping a fitness/weight loss tips blog: www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/30tips I'm on tip no. 88, and plan to end it on number 100! (12 days from today)

You go to profile, then photos

Well, it looks like you are doing several things well--exercise, snacking, keeping your sodium within the recommended range, staying within your calories, recording the separate ingredients in your sandwiches, etc. I´m not sure if any of my questions will help, but I´m just brainstorming, so bear with me. Is there any…

Plus, the exercise is good for you regardless of whether you lose weight or not! So don´t give it up! :) The only way for you to fail is to give up.

Often, your weight will change in a few days. _Not all is lost, though. You´re logging what you eat, and that is VERY Important. You are finally finding out what you REALLY eat. There are lots of different things you can try. -Eating less at dinnertime -Making sure you didn´t just drink a lot of water before weighing…

Also, when I was little I remember doing Victoria Principal's exercises that appeared in some Woman's Day or Redbook magazine. But you would have to find the magazine and/or book and buy it, and I think it's possible you might find enough exercises on the other website I found.…

There's a website called squeezeitin.com I haven't tried them YET (because I will try them sometime) but it definitely looks good

If you eat several times a day, that speeds up your metabolism, and allows the carbs to be absorbed easier, instead of being turned into fat. Be sure that the food you eat really has the calories you think it does, and make sure you´ve got the right quantities down, etc. If you can, write down the recipe of what you make…

Is it really necessary to break this one? If you already made sure that what you ate was healthy it seems like it´s okay to do something that makes you feel comfortable. If, on the other hand, you would like to know WHY you´re doing it, well that´s another matter. You could try writing about it? Write about how you feel…

can you invite your husband to go with you to the gym (at least once in a while)so he can calm his fears? (Regardless of whether there is any exercise at all he can do or not) Though I agree with someone else who wrote above, that the surprise factor is probably not a good idea, it should be a normal invitation to share…

Since when are carbs bad? Haha, you can tell I´ve never done the Atkins Diet nor the South Beach Diet

a. Lifting weights (less repetitions and more weight) and any other exercise for increasing muscle mass or toning your muscles will orient your calories in that direction. That doesn´t mean you should give up your cardio because it also has a role in your health. If your workout lasts an hour, you could do half an hour of…

I like tilapia in lemon vinaigrette, by Giadda Di Laurentiis.... the vinaigrette is made up of 1/4 cup of parsley, olive oil, 1/4 cup of lemon juice, pepper, salt, two cloves of garlic. I'll have to look up how much olive oil.

Funny you mention yesterday. It's the one day the BAD me had too much fudge. She was so smart she did it in such a way that it's almost impossible to gauge how much she had because she straightened pieces of fudge, instead of taking entire pieces. Then she didn't do exercise. The good decided to log it as best she could,…

I like your goals! Motivating and not food-related :)

Did you measure yourself and did that show an increase in size as well? Because if you´ve been exercising more, you might gain a pound or so of muscle, too.
