  • That sounds good.
  • Congratulations!!!! You are awesome !!!
  • Insanity. Pure Cardio tomorrow. Day 8
  • I like to remember that binge eating would be really natural...if I were a cave person...and think of it as a part of the cycle of things... I feel like that helps me stay on track with my health goals. The next day, I eat according to how I feel. I might not want breakfast...so I call that intermittent fasting (not the…
  • I totally get this. And melatonin is just a bandaid and makes me crazy out of it the next day. Here's the thing...I think it has to do with eating some carbs at night...I think it has to do with the body going into ketosis and getting that rushy energy... I know people love that but I don't. If I eat only protein before…
  • Check what myfitnesspal recommends for your macros & calories for weight loss and stick to it. Be really honest with the computer that's calculating your daily needs. Don't overestimate your workout calories. (I wouldn't even add them in at all.) Don't underestimate your food consumption. For the first month, weigh…
  • I'm planning on starting p90x tonight...wish me luck
  • I have air popped popcorn all the time...measure it into a 4 cup bowl and have a 1/2 teaspoon of butter and salt. This part is key because for a while it was more like 1/2 cup of butter  Anyway, I think it's so helpful to change out the things we love for healthy variations. I throw turmeric on the popcorn…
  • Have you tried High/Low where you eat maintenance one day and low the next? It really works.
  • If you haven't hit a plateau yet, I would say you're doing great and you can store all these suggestions for if and when that happens. But for now, why borrow trouble? Meanwhile, CONGRATS!!!
  • Your food choices sound unhealthy and make me sort of sad to think about. Maybe spend some time eating clean? Lots of fruits and salads and veggies, whole grains, fish, chicken, a little lean red organic grassfed meat? Some fruit. It's fun to have a blt sometimes, but if you were eating cleaner, I bet you wouldn't need…

  • Always try to imagine people saying, "wow, that guy/girl is so impressive. I'm just in awe of her/him. There they go again! I wish I were more like him/her." Because someone is bound to be saying it about you if they're saying anything.
  • Started yesterday!

  • Awesome! I just started a Spring training plan today and I'm thrilled to find more support! I weigh 118.6 right now, but I'm quite short and have a small frame, so that's about 8 pounds too heavy. Looking forward to dropping a pound or two this week!!!!! Yay!
  • www.hypnosisdownloads.com has a download for stop binge eating that I used to stop eating whole boxes of ginger creme cookies. the idea of doing that now really grosses me out! Good luck. bbhe
  • I peeped at your diary and it looked like you hadn't been logging in for awhile. When I feel the way you do, I load up on salads, veggies and fruits, and small amounts of highly nutritious lower calorie foods. If you aren't nourished, you will be hungry! There are a lot of specific diets that are geared toward just being…
  • Oh, and you can cook it and then divide it into the number of servings that the whole container's supposed to have, and then measure that....So if you cook the whole box, (and it's supposed to serve, say, six) then just before you serve it, divide it into roughly equal six portions and then you'll know.
  • Pasta is A LOT of calories and your cup estimate seems pretty accurate to me. Sorry. What I do is I add in a bunch of veggies before I eat pasta, then I eat the pasta and I get that wonderful full pasta feeling but without the bulge! Good luck.
  • You are awesome! Amazing work! I'm so impressed with you and I bet everyone in your live community is too. You are helping so many people just by taking care of yourself!
  • It's hard to respond without knowing what kind of exercise you do and what kind of foods you eat. I find the best thing about myfitnesspal is you can experiment and watch the results. I also find working out hard is great for weight loss.
  • The only way I ever lost weight on purpose was to keep my calories low and NOT take cheat meals. Now, I can't live that way, but I do think the cheat meals could be the issue. I might suggest counting during your cheat meals. Also, zigzagging really helped me drop weight where I would go super low one day a week, then back…
  • I counted calories when I was breastfeeding. I think it's really important to eat enough. I think, looking back, that I was cranky and my milk supply was low because I was not getting enough food. I was so miserable being big (I was huge) that I was willing to be hungry. I would recommend eating until you are full and…
  • Hi, One Life! I took the liberty of looking at your food diary and I'm not surprised that you are really frustrated. The foods you are eating aren't actually good for you! A lot of processed foods and carbs and not enough protein or vitamins. If you want I'd be happy to give you a little help. I'm sure you can do it!
  • I also have exercise induced asthma but I have managed to get a blackbelt in karate and a brown belt in jiujitsu and become a life long exerciser. The trick is to build up slowly so running doesn't feel like exercising to your lungs. I still can't workout in the cold, and I can't really "push" cardio, but I can workout! I…
