  • Since you are already running with the treadmill at 1% incline, you are mimicking running outdoors somewhat. With that said, do what feels best! Enjoy the outdoors while you can, then go back inside when you cant!

  • You hit the nail on the head, RIGHT HERE! If its not around, they cant eat it. If it is, and you allow it, you are enabling. I know its easier said than done, but everything that is worth something is, and your kids health IS worth it. Stay strong, they will adapt.
  • I prefer running. If you have access to a treadmill, to reduce wear and tear on knees and ankles, I like to "hike". Set the angle very steep and a moderate speed, no running, but not walking either. This burns just as many calories I have found and its easier on the body as well.
  • This is why I wont date fat women either. We can all say that superficial things dont matter, but they do. If they dont care whats in my heart, why should I care what might be in theirs.
  • Ok cool, thanks for the response. The numbness has gone away significantly and I have started doing some light weights again, hoping to at least feel some strengthening. When it first occured, I was not able to do any push up, but I can do about 12 - 15 now, so that is a good sign. BTW im 44, so it could be taking longer…
