When I spoke to my dr in January about losing weight when I started this journey he advised me to take a multi vitamin daily just in case I was not getting all the vitamins from my food, as food looses some during the cooking process.

I had the same problem last year and the only thing that I found helped me to stop the muscle spasms so I could exercise again without taking meds was going to the physio every two weeks for 3 months. It happened to me too but just keep eating healthy and drink lots of water and it soon goes, after my second month mine all dissapeared.

The motivation that I have is that my hubby's brother is getting married May 2012 and I do not want to be the fat person in the photo. Plus as my hubby is best man I want to look my best for him.

For my husband I put two slices of pepperoni and and some sliced mushroom onto a cooked pork loin piece and I also melt a little reduced fat cheese on top and my hubby loves this.

When I spoke to my Dr back in January about losing the 3st 13lb I want/need to get rid of, he advised me not to go below 1500 calories a day, and exercise regulary. I have been doing this and my weight loss has varied from 1 lb a week up to 3lb a week depending on how much exercise I do.

Make sure you are drinking enough water, I know from myself if I do not drink enough water no matter how hard I exercise and stick to the calories I will not loose any weight. I upped my water intake to 8 glasses a day and have lost consistently since.
