  • I am using micropore tape on mine just to fill it out. Unfortunately my wedding ring can't be made smaller due to the design of it so when I get to target, hubby said he would get me a new one.
  • My goal is betweekn 138 & 140 as any lower and I look ill, but hubby has said that as I get nearer my target and he thinks I am looking too thin he will say he said he would rather I look toned and happy than skinny and ill.
  • Yes it does as your body needs a minimal amount to function so you will need to eat back those calories burnt. As a rule of thumb for myself I generally eat back 3/4 of my exercise calories as MFP can be generous on how many calories burnt. I know if sounds weird but yes you need to eat them.
  • I'm on Depo and I have not had any problems with water retention but then I am drinking so much more water than I used to so I have not really noticed it as I am always popping to the loo lol.
  • My cat runs out of the room and my two young daughters stand there giggling but they do give encouragement "Go on mum you can do it" and it does help when I feel like giving up.
  • Thanks guys will just grit my teeth to get through these early days, appreciate the feed back.
  • Thanks Jennie will do it again tonight but may have a bath after instead of a shower to soak the muscles lol.
  • I take Sanatogen A-Z Complete One-A-Day as recommended by my Doctor to ensure that I am getting all the vitamins that I need. Just in case I am not getting it all from my food he said it was better to be safe than sorry.
  • I started Jilliam Michael's 30 Day Shred yesterday and do I ache today. The section from my chest down to my knees not sure which bit hurts the most everytime I move I find a new muscle I never knew I had lol.
  • Thank you I will put it as lightly active.
  • I have breakfast about an hour after waking up otherwise if I have it too early I will be wanting to eat my lunch by 11am.
  • I only have salads for lunch as I find they are not filling enough and I was getting hungry before bed so now for dinner in the evening I tend to have vegetables and meats instead which I have found do fill me up longer and I don't go to bed hungry.

  • Thanks guys for your input really appreciate it, I hope to get a HRM after Christmas as at the moment I cannot aford one.
  • Have I missed the results? I have been looking since Monday but have not been able to see them. :ohwell:
  • I take just ordinary multi-vitamin as instructed by my dr as I went to see him when I decided to do a lifestyle change and loose weight. He advised me to take the multi-vitamin as although eating more healthy with veg and fruit etc when cooking them you can loose lots of the nutriants in them. I have to admit I do listen…
  • I like the Sainbury's Be Good To Yourself ones and they are only 135 cal per wrap and they are a nice size too.
  • Don't give up keep going. When I got to 20lb down I was stuck at that for 7 weeks and all I was doing was putting on a pound and then losing a pound. Then two weeks ago I lost a pound but that pound felt so damn good to loose, this week I lost another 1lb and hopefully I will continue to loose for a few more weeks. What I…
  • I spend more as vegetables are so expensive and when you are trying to change the whole family's eating you really have to shop around as everying else is going up but not the wages.
  • I use the pedometer pro and is only £1.79 on iTunes, the best one I have used and I have tried a few of the free ones before deciding to buy the one I have. You can do your laps and save it all and it shows you the maps plus you can log you weight, waist & chest measurements plus it also tells you the speed you walked and…
  • I like to have one hour before bed a cup of tea and a chocolate Breakaway and I ensure that I have enough calories to have this so that I do not crave chocolate. It has not done me any harm during my lifestyle change.
  • Bristol, welcome and good luck

  • I have the same problem, my youngest is now 10 and no matter what I tried after the 1st one I was left with my jelly belly pouch as I call it. So 2nd time round did nothing about losing the baby weight and carried on with life but now she is nearly 10 decided perhaps it was time to loose the weight. Although I have lost…
  • Thanks Jeff for the link, very handy to use if going out.
  • I only have the wii to weigh myself on at home so I tend to just weigh myself on that. You will have to decide which one you want to use, otherwise you are going to be getting conflicting results if you use two different types of weighing devices. I know when I have been to the GP their scale is 2lb less but I just stick…
  • Thanks Bel nice to know not alone in this. I am just going to have to grit my teeth and get through the exercising and hopefully it will become easier, at the moment its like a chore. I hope that you are able to get back into it yourself and wish you all the luck on this hard journey we are taking.
  • Food is not a issue and I am drinking 8-9 glasses of water a day plus 4 cups of tea as well. I think once the rain stays away for long enough during the summer it will be nice walks along the river. I think my main problem is trying to fit the exercise in after getting home from school and starting tea. Just need to kick…
  • I don't know of anyone to loose 2 stone in 8 weeks but I lost 15 pound in 8 weeks so you may not get 2 stone but you could certainly achieve 1 stone or a little more easily if you stick to eating healthy and exercising regularly .
