I breed snakes for a living. I work in one of the world's largest facilities. We have a pretty solid crew but at the same time, we get newbies in and out occasionally. People don't always see how difficult this job is and they can't handle it. It's not all fun and games :)

I've never done any official challenge on here... I'm up for it! :)

alright, I've never done one of the group challenge things on here before, but I wanna give this a go! Current Weight: 163 Goal (by Christmas): 143 Wow, that does NOT seem easy. Gonna try my best :)

I do believe leg-outs are probably in-and-outs like in p90x: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRfx7vdiLr0&feature=player_detailpage#t=52s

I started classic P90x today! It wasn't super difficult but there were definitely parts that kicked my *kitten*. I'm really excited for this, though! :D

Where in sterling heights are you? I work in Shelby Township so I recently switched gyms to be out there. Any chance you bike? I've been looking for someone who can keep up to go to Stony Creek with, ha.

I eat a lot of meat substitutes, but I know a lot of people don't like that, soooo... Whey protein shakes are awesome, super easy way to get protein. Eggs are great (assuming you're not vegan). Nuts and beans are also a really good source. Also, greek yogurt! Yum!

Hi fellow redditors! I'm LifeStartsNow on reddit. Been using MFP for 2months (today, actually), starting weight: 219, currently: 193.6. I love MFP and how much easier it makes my life. My current goal is 170, and I'm sure I'm going to want to go lower once I get there.... but for now, little steps! I also started a daily…

Thank you for the kind words :) I'm still trying to find a friend to walk with me, but no luck so far. Might be going solo on it, but I'm ok with that :)
-
I'll add you, having people to motivate and support you can be a big help :)
-
Thank you! Can you give me any tips/advice? :)
-
Feel free to add me if you wish! I was in an e-mail group with some people off a forum, but it slowly died and no one e-mails back anymore :/ I am here to be supportive if that's what you need! :)

I start week 5 tomorrow. I continue to be shocked by myself when I can run longer and longer. I struggled with the initial runs of a minute or so. Now, I'm doing 5min runs easy. It's definitely awesome :D

I'm definitely a tattoo person. I got my first when I was 17, I'm now 21 and I think I have 10. There are some that I have just because I like them, and a couple that have a lot of meaning to me. My favorites: I have a DNA helix on my ankle, because I'm a bio geek and science fascinates me. I have a breast cancer ribbon…

I was diagnosed with ADHD years ago and for personal reasons have decided not to take any medications. For quite awhile I was able to manage it okay- but the last couple years have been tough. I'm in my 4th year as a double-majoring college student now, and I will admit it gets the better of me. I know I need to see a…

Thank you! And you as well :)

Thanks! I don't intend on quitting, trust me. I'm in this for the long haul!

Well, I'm the opposite- I love to talk! Welcome to MFP :)

Personally, I usually weigh myself every day (ish) but I only input on Sundays. It's interesting to see the daily fluctuations, but in the end after a week, I can see the actual progress I have made.

My boyfriend talked me into getting a droid at the start of the year (he had the HTC Incredible, so I got the same). He has since asked me if I would ever be able to go back to a regular phone, instead of a smart phone, and I tell him if it wasn't for the MFP app I think I could. Since I have been using MFP, though, and…

Honestly, I haven't had any issues with my scale and it was super cheap. It is a health-o-meter $17 scale from walmart. Granted, I've only had it a couple months now (bought it at the beginning of my weight loss journey) but I can step on it 10 times in a row and it will read the exact same. Supposedly you can also program…
