Best thing I could suggest is making a friend at the gym. It has really helped me stay focused and push harder in the last few weeks. I've been slowly putting on some muscle weight and an easy recipe is baked chicken with olive oil and seasoning (whichever you like) plus a pot of brown rice...look it up on http://www.cooks.com/rec/view/0,2339,156177-233204,00.html takes 30 minutes for the chicken but over an hour for the rice so plan accordingly.
