The trainers at FF are a joke. They aren't REAL trainers! Haha

You may lose the weight quickly but you will gain it all back faster then you lost it. You're putting your body into starvation mode. If you want to lose weight the healthy way, you have to be patient. It takes time. Do it the healthy way or you will majorly regret it.

Me too!

I love hearing this. This totally made my day! Good for Gramma, show those men!! Haha. Glad she's recovering well.
-
I'm sorry. Am I reading this right? You're 5'4 and would like to weigh 86 lbs?
-
Thanks! I'm healthy and that's what matters most. My BMI is in the healthy range and my BF is 22% which I'm very happy with but I feel just for myself I would like to be the weight I was before I had kids. I think even if I hit 130 I would feel very content.

5.4".5 and would like to hit 125. I'm 136 now and happy but feel I could still lose 10 lbs.
-
This...oops.
-
Agree 100% with this.

Pretty much nothing. Your body NEEDS carbs. Try a balance rather then cutting it out all together.

Huh?

Eeek sorry, double post.

Biceps and triceps! My fav are basic triceps extensions and bench dips.

I was talking to my trainer about this the other day and he said that the only way to fix the loose skin problem is a tummy tuck, unfortunately. I don't have it quite as bad but I definitely have it. I do abs almost everyday and have very strong abdominal muscles but that skin is still there so you can't see the muscles. I…

I'm the same and I definitely count all of it too!

7 lbs in one month is REALLY good. That is almost 2lbs a week. I don't know why you're frustrated? At that weight loss number I would be thrilled. Noticed you said 6 weeks, not a month. Oops. Still that is an average of at least 1 lb a week which is a HEALTHY weight loss. Just keep at it.

I "try" my hardest to eat this way. I always incorporate lean protein, veggies and fruit into every meal but I LOVE cheese and yogurt. Those items make up pretty much every meal I eat. I find it super hard to only eat veggies, fruit and lean protein if I'm working out a lot. I feel like I need something more because I'm…

Same with me! Try changing up your workout routine, incorporate more strength training. Have you tried High Intensity Intervals? It's REALLY awesome for breaking a plateau. The last 10-20 lbs are pretty hard to lose! You'll get through it. Good luck!
-
Good for you! I wish mine would.
-
Yes, you can count them! Don't bother turning it off if you're not done working out. I never turn my off until I walk out the gym door.
-
Glad you're getting help, that's the first step. You will feel much better and be back to yourself in no time!
-
I "try" to weigh myself once a week but I have a serious obsession with seeing those numbers so end up weighing in almost everyday. It's definitely better to weigh only once a week because of fluctuation. You get a more accurate number with weekly weigh ins.

Heart rate monitors are made to only track calories/heart rate while doing exercise. It's most likely not accurate for just running errands. That would be a part of your daily activity.
-
Eat. Best would be nuts or fruits!

You can tap your foot to the side while holding plank position, also try tapping your hands to the side too. Here's a website for correct form. http://www.marksdailyapple.com/how-to-proper-plank-technique/

Ibuprofen seems to be the only thing that helps me and light stretching.
-
You should invest in a heart rate monitor if you want an accurate reading of burned calories. The machines are websites are just estimates and generally are higher then your actual calories burned.

Agree. Definitely try out the HIIT, it's so effective!
