I have a Health O Meter scale too and it always says I'm 3 lbs heavier then my other scale.

Awesome advice.

I agree with Brad Pitt. Never thought he was attractive.

Make your diet more strict, up your protein, lower your fat intake. Drink lots of water! I think 14lbs is going to be hard to lose in 6 weeks (the healthy way) but you can always try. I would suggest eating mostly lean meats, lots of veggies, lots of berries, greek yogurt and only whole grains (tiny bit). Try some protein…

Chobani is the best in my opinion.

Weight first then cardio, always. Best would be to do them on different days.

I'm 5'4.5...145 now, goal weight is 125.

I gained 60 with my daughter and 30 with my son. My skin just hangs on my lower tummy. It's the worst area of my body and I work hard but it's still the same. In due time, I hope!

I wish I could find a magic cure for this! I have the same problem. :frown:

I have mine set to lightly active. I stay at home with my kids but I am rarely sitting and I workout 6 times a week for 45 mins or more. I would log as sedentary.

I try to just say "thank you" but it's never that easy.

No fruit is ever bad. Keep eating your apples!

I have the Sharper Image one from BBB, it's great. I got it for $29.

Yes they do!

HRM's are actually only designed to calculate your calories burned while doing actual exercise, not just sitting around. So most likely it's not accurate.

Never eat less then 1200 net calories a day. You're definitely in starvation mode, not only will you be losing weight like crazy, you will gain it all back even faster. Not to mention you will be losing your lean muscle mass. What you're doing right now is extremely unhealthy. Regarding the zig zagging, yes you may gain…

Usually 3-4 lbs. It comes right off when it's over.

Most protein bars contain sugar alcohols. I really don't think you should stop eating them. I'm sure you can find bars without the sugar alcohols.

Anything that contains caffeine cannot be counted as water. I only count plain water in my water intake.

I had it after Sophie was born, it was pretty severe. I've always had anxiety my whole life but the level of depression I reached after having my daughter was so extreme I could barely function. I think a mini support group is awesome!

Mix up your workout routine, add more strength training, maybe up our calories a bit if you're just in taking 1200 net a day. You need to shock your system. It took me 2 months to get past my plateau. Good luck!

YES you do!

My bathroom closet, I should keep it locked away with the key hidden away where I can't find it!

I went Vegetarian about 2 years ago (while I was pregnant), I really felt amazing. Due to lack of iron and protein I have started eating chicken again regularly but no other meats. Make sure you're taking an Iron supplement and getting lots of protein. I began feeling extremely tired from the lack of Iron. Here are a few…

I get that but I just don't understand how losing weight through 9 months of pregnancy is healthy for you and your baby. I wasn't offering her medical advice (obviously I'm not a doctor and wouldn't do that). I just simply said that I've never heard of losing weight being entirely healthy during pregnancy. She asked…

The best is to actually do them on different days but if that's not an option. Weights firs, then cardio.

Your first class will be tough. Mostly because it's just a pain to get comfortable on the bike but the more often you go you get used to the aching bottom! I spin regularly, was spinning 3-4 times a week but have recently cut it back to 2 times a week. The key to spinning is a great instructor and great music. Those 2…

I've never heard that it's ok to lose weight while pregnant. That seems really strange to me. You should always be gaining while pregnant, even if you only gain tiny bits every trimester, you should always be gaining. My friend was severely sick while pregnant and lost 10 lbs and the Dr. was extremely concerned about her…
