Welcome...you do not have to leave your house to exercise. Walk on your lunch break at work. When the kids are in bed do jumping jacks, squats, walk/run in place while watching your favorite show. Shop at Thrift Stores...you can buy stuff for next to nothing......when you reach your final GOAL weight you can buy all sorts of expensive nice name brand clothes and since you paid so much for them you will be determined not to gain the weight back. :)

...not sure what you are seeing...I do eat a lot of carbs but I do not see where I have gone over my carbs but many days I have been over my protein. ??????

I have heard this before...hopefully it is what it is. My calf muscles hurt to the touch and has been hard to walk since Sat. morning.

Oh yeah...I have a digital scale and measuring cups and I religiously measure and weight...my husband laughs at me because I weigh and measure everything that goes in my mouth.

Maybe try to mix half and half...that is what I am going to try next time I make pasta.

When I cook brown rice I put some butter spray (Can't Believe It's Not Butter) on it and some garlic powder (not garlic salt because of high sodium). Make sure you cook it long enough or it will be chewy and gross. You can add any Mrs. Dash seasonings (there are a lot) that you like and are not bad on sodium and very good.

I eat the Smart Ones Morning Express...my favorite is the French Toast with Turkey Sausage. I also like whole grain reduced fat waffles with peanut butter on it.

I tend to sweat more when I finish my work-out. I do sweat some during but afterwards I will pour sweat.

I am not a "runner" yet but I am in the process of doing C25k. I did run a 5k two years ago in 33 minutes without training or running beforehand. I was doing it for a good cause and just wanted to participate. I power walked some of it. I am anxious to see how I do after I run one this year after doing the C25k. :)

I take in 1200 cals and I do not eat exercise calories back. I have been losing 1 to 1.5 lbs a week (which is healthy). I am not starving myself and I am full and satisfied at the end of the day. I do know it is supposed to be done 3 times a week but I have been doing it mostly on the treadmill and I have been fine so I continue since I get a better work-out running. I may just need to rest my knee until Tuesday and do a rest day in between and see how it feels I am new to running so thanks for the advice.
