I realize the later I eat dinner the better it is for me because I fall asleep before I get hungry again. I used to eat dinner at 5:30 or 6:00 but now it is more like 8:00 or 8:30 and I do not snack all evening.

I use a HRM and my calories burned are alot higher on the treadmill than the elliptical. I do not trust the machines even though my heart rate on my HRM is the same as on the machines and I put in my weight and age...the numbers are still off. I always go by my HRM.

I have already ran a 10k on a treadmill...I finished in 1:12 but I have my first official race March 16th. I will take the advice of everyone to eat more but I only burn about 500-600 and that is only on my longer run days.

I just use olive oil spray and salt-free seasonings to fry my egg....the spray is 0 cals for so many sprays! :)

The days I eat more than 1200 it always causes a gain for me. Everyone is different. If I am hungry I eat more but if not I dont bother. I have lost 50 pounds in 13 months so I think that is slow and healthy for me! :)

I can't see your diary but how I overcame my 3-month plateau was to keep my sodium below 2300mg and change up my work-out to give my body a little something different.

Breakfast is "breaking the fast"....your body has been fasting for many hours and needs fuel for you to start your day and kick start your metabolism. I feel soooo much better since I started eating breakfast and it also keeps me from being sooo hungry by lunch so I am not starving and wanting to eat everything in sight.
