Hi guys.
I have a quick question. When you pick fried eggs, is the kcal-count inclusive kcal for butter/oil, or do you have to add that on the side? If so, why is the amount of kcal in fried eggs, higher than in boiled eggs?

I actually just logged 'fried eggs'.. the calories where the same as on the package of raw eggs.. So I am going to say nope. I'll be honest... I rarely use any of that stuff because it is a pain to log -_- I'll find a different way to cook w/e I'm eating =p

I choose egg rather than fried egg and add what I used to make the egg as a separate ingredient, usually.

this, as it will vary by what you fry it in, and how much you use.

I fry my eggs in coconut oil, and use an MFP entry that says "Eggs Fried in Coconut Oil". Works for me. I actually use just about 1/2 tsp of oil, so I figure it it's a cal overestimate, that's fine, since I probably underestimate other things.

I use olive oil in an aerosol pump container, so it's basically equiv. to using PAM.

Also, when I plugged it in, I see eggs as 70 cals, but fried eggs as 92 cals. There's your butter calories.

I use a spritz of olive oil in the pan. The calories from that are around 5 calories. Hardly worth worrying about. If I was using more or a patty of butter I might log it separate.
