Yes. A very quick reply is that my work doesn't allow MP3 players, burned CDs, etc. into the building. Plus I guess I am still old school and like the option to load a CD in the car, etc. whenever I want versus trying to figure out how to listen in my 2006 car (no external hook-up for MP3 players, etc.).

No one buys CDs anymore? I would like to expand my music listen to while working out but to me the CDs have gotten a bit too expensive.

Free weights and a mat at the house? If so pick them up and do some sit-ups / push-ups. Take a walk with the kids. Any activity during the day and soon you might get that "spark" that makes you want to keep going. I know when I go to the gym I get some motivation and a sense of well-being - just might help you too.

I echo what they said - if worse in the morning but gets better a while after then worse again the next morning that is what I would say it is. Try Dr Scholl's heal pain inserts. For me they got rid of my pain after a couple of weeks.

I have the opposite "issue". If I work legs they almost never got sore even after going skiing and then working out hard on legs the next day. BUT if I don't work legs for a week or two I get serious pain in my legs that keeps me up at night. I have only met one other person in my life that has ever had (or even heard of)…

Yup that does some up quite a few reasons people don't lose but also because IMO people are being too forgiving in their calories burned. I have talked to / seen people who get on a treadmill and if it says 600 calories burned that is what hey write down. That might be good for a guess but combine that with these other…

Welcome back and way to go. Starting is always the hardest. In my opinion I think you need to ensure you write your goals down too - I am bad about doing that and soon the time passes and I forget about what I wanted to hit, when. And don't worry if you hit a bump or two, just keep on going.

I don't have all that much to say except talk to people, friends or not. Get the hurt out in other ways besides drinking, etc. Also, and I DON'T normally say this but, talk to people (women) in the in the gym and find people that are interested in the same type of lifestyle you are. A difference. Once they get used to it nothing will seem that drastic and they'll live with it. For me, before I got hurt again, I had my GFs sister tell me the same sort of stuff. Now she thinks I looks fine..... once healed and I start losing again I am sure she will think some of the same stuff as I lose more.
