After a bit out thought I also don't think I care what others rate me. The only thing that bothers me is rudeness. Stress eating--- Get a friend that will listen. Talk to occupy your mouth versus the chocolate. And talking it out may relieve that stress. (Plus a "cheat" isn't all that bad every once in a while).

I say do it all. Yes you may be in the gym a bit longer doing weights also but extra calories burned is extra calories burned. I personally don't believe in any theory that says you will lose more by just one type of exercise or another. Calories consumed and burned is the only thing I believe in (unless so low on calories…
