My calorie goal is also set at 1200. Most days I eat close to it, and if I go over, I go take a walk to give me some extra calories to consume. I also plan every few days to eat considerably more than 1200 to prevent my body from going into starvation mode. Changing my intake gets my metabolism doing its job.

I do salmon filets in a parchment bag, with slices of orange on top. For sides, fresh asparagus, and either couscous, or a rice/quinoa blend. Super yummy!

I too work 10 hour days, so i am lucky to get 20 mins in on weeknights. I agree that doing a variety of workouts generally keeps the body guessing, thereby you lose more weight.

I also get tuck in plateau situations where i will tain and lose the same 5 lbs over and over. I find the best thing to break the plateau is to really change it up and do something different. I love to travel, and one sport I would like to get into is sea kayaking. Want to go and do this soon up in Alaska near the glaciers. I am losing weight so I can fit comfortably in a kayak.

I eat so early in the morning, but to get some added protein to whatever I eat...be it yogurt, or cereal or waffles, I add a hard boiled egg
