15 weeks ago my husband and I bought a box of brownie mix. We didn't make it for that first week, and then the next week (14 days ago today) I started this program. He's been "bugging" me about these brownies. He understood/stands what I don't want to make them, but he still wants them  Since he is having a HORRIBLE…

Whoo hoo! I was taken off metformin a week ago after being on it for 7 years, it is amazing!!!! Congrats!!!!

I do not. If I eat something bad it really hurts me for a long time. Not only with consistent weight loss, but it also makes me crave when I wasn't craving before. Every so often I will go out to eat but I ALWAYS stay within my calories. Like tonight my brother is coming home from college for his birthday and we're going…

I always heard it was 10lbs an inch. LOL. For the same BMI it would the 5'7" would be 130lbs.

So, I really thought I was going to do "better than anyone in history" and avoid plateaus. Well, there is no denying it now. I have been at this weight for 3 weeks now. Ok, I lie, I went out for my brothers 21st birthday and ate bad all day and drank.... a lot.... :drinker: lol, so I did gain, and now have lost that extra…

If you cut out the 2% and use skim you'd save even more calories!

I HATE cheese cake, but LOVE white chocolate and pumpkin. Does anyone know how to make this from a cheese cake to a pumpkin pie recipe? Either way now this year when I make my chocolate chip pumpkin cake I am going to use white chips. MMMM.

Ugh. That's why whenever I am going out I look at the nutrition info first and pick out 1-3 ideas that I'll get. Otherwise "healthy" can really be scary.
-
Honestly, if you want to be a new and improved better healthier you you're just going to have to do it. Either you sacrifice an hour of sleep everyday, or go to the gym right after work. YOU NEED TO DO THIS!!!! And YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!!! :drinker:

He is a hottie!!!!!!!!! I was very bummed.

I am watching it right now and was doing crunches/leg lifts for the first 30 minutes of the show! Haha.

Well, it may not be a big deal for her, but a lot of young people have hereditary bp problems and need to watch their sodium.... Besides, you should learn now how to eat healthy so it's not a radical change later
-
You are young, and if you don't have to worry about your blood pressure it's probably ok... But what are you eating? Can you give some examples? I eat 1,200 calories a day and never go over my sodium... Maybe you're eating too many prepared/frozen/eating out foods.

I switched from outside or treadmill walking/jogging/running to the elliptical in my gym and it is AMAZING. I no longer have that problem. Even if I do the treadmill every other day, with the elliptical in-between it really really helps.

Applebees have this awesome WW onion soup and with their WW garlic herb chicken it is amazing!!!!! I eat the soup and half the chicken, potatoes and broccoli and take the rest home for a later meal. So yummy. Also you can go to> http://www.healthydiningfinder.com/site/ And it'll give you a lot of info.
-
AH! I see your problem! Mine is actually one of those 100 calorie bags so I guess I really can't help you there! Do you have the label for the bag? If there is more than one serving, like 2.5 in the bag just take the info they give you and times it by 2.5 (or however many servings) then you'll know the real numbers and can…

The best thing to do is to add it to your foods eaten today and it's already put in there for you. I know because it's one of my treats

I never wear tights, I wouldn't and then wear your open toed shoes.

Do NOT get them resized. Seriously, since you have more weight to lose if you resize now, then later after more weight is lost you'll have to resize it again. This costs a lot and is hard on your rings. You should buy a ring adjuster until you lose all the weight and then get it sized to your new finger size!

Don't do it! I just got off a 3 days binge in where I gained 6 pounds :grumble: :grumble: :grumble: So not worth it. But once you start it is SO hard to stop. And now I have to work extra had to get these pounds off AGAIN, and I really wanted to be able to say 50lbs lost a week from today.
-
OH! I am glad you liked it! How long (roughly) did it take to run out?
-
I guess I should've also asked. Would is be good for walking too? I would assume so, but I'd just like to make sure. THank you!

Does anyone use Nike+? It's where the shoes have like a tracking device and you can have it set up on an armband or use your ipod and it'll tell you while you're running how far you've gone and how many calories burned. I am really interested in it, and I'd like some input. Thanks!

Ok, so to help me get to the gym more (and motivate me out of this junk food funk) I bought stickers yesterday. I got a package of apple sticks to put on the calendar for everyday I eat within my limits, and a package of WOW! stickers for everyday I work out in the gym for 45 (or more) minutes. Now my only problem is,…
