  • Reading this thread makes me wish MFP had a 'like' button!
  • I do Slimming World (and have consistently good weight losses when I stay on plan) and use MFP basically to ensure I eat enough when I exercise. I count the calories in my fruit and veg out of interest, but don't worry to much about macros. I would say, as long as you aren't going hungry, and you are eating to your…
  • Same to you!
  • I'm on day 2 of the shred for the second time :D. Feel free to add me :D
  • If you're looking at the iron counter on the MFP app ignore it. It doesn't count the iron content in a bunch of foods which are full of iron.
  • Hiya *waves* from sunny Oxfordshire :D
  • In the UK you can buy bacon medallions which have all of the rind and excess fat removed. Still tastes damn delicious when grilled and served with eggs and mushrooms and some low fat sausages :D Eat the bacon. Honestly, its yummy!
  • Great idea thanks! I'll check out the schedule now. I've always wanted to try Spinning :D
  • Thanks for all your suggestions guys! I'll definitely see if there's a trainer around to show me round the weights room. I must admit the thought of weights TERRIFIES me, but I am trying to build a leaner, more sculpted body so it's worth giving it a go :D It is a one off- there's now way i can afford in time or money…
  • My TOM is hell even with being on cerazette, but I've found that workouts actually help. I feel quite gross afterwards and I find I can't go as hard as I normally would, but it does improve my general feeling of health during that time. Also, if I workout I don;t retain as much water. WIN!
  • Fried with 1 cal cooking spray and perched on top of a gammon steak with sweet potato chips! Or in an omlette :D
  • I completed 30DS last week. In the month of January I lost 8.5 lbs and 4 inches from my waist which is a pretty good result for me! I've now started doing it a second time around along with 6 week, 6 pack. Keep it up- it gets great results!!!
  • I recommend the Jillian Michaels collection b ox set. It costs about £15 and has 30 Day Shred, 6 week 6 pack, No More trouble Zones and Banish fat Boost Metabolism. Basically you get the four good start you off DVD's for less than £20. I've completed 30DS and am now on Round Two of completing it, and I'm on Day 3 of 6W6P.…
  • I'm trying to make sure I have two rest days a week, and you know what- I HATE it. I feel flabby and fat on days I don't workout :(
  • 6W6P will tone and strengthen your core as well as giving you a decent cardio workout. It also does a fair amount of arms, shoulders and glutes toning because of the level of planks and squats. You do of course, need to maintain good diet but it will be beneficial.
  • I'm in recovery from Bulimia- I am actiuvely working to lose weight though and lose it healthily. a big part of my journey at the moment is losing weight healthily and finding other ways to indulge myself. Feel free to add me if you want :D Good luck with your recovery- you can do it!!
  • Hi Drumsrevolver, Which group do you go to? I go to the Headington early group :D I find SW to be awesome becuase it's so unrestrictive but at the same time, works out at the same calorie density of my previous (failed) calorie counting diet. I do think the MFP calorie calculations are too low- I've said to my consultant…
  • Hi, I'm Suzi and I'm from Oxford. I've been doing SW since last July and so far I've lost 2stone 1 lb. I've joined MFP to try and help with portion control, and also because the SW app doesnt work on my phone- I want to be able to food diary and exercise track in the same place! I am currently 2 stone away from target, so…
  • I'm on Day 24- I had to have a 5 day break due to illness, so my Day24 is actual exercise days. Starting L3 tonite!!
