25 pounds is awesome! It is so hard for us to see changes in ourselves because we are always our harshiest critics and tend to focus only on how much more we have to go and not all that we have accomlished. You are doing great! Keep up the good work and focus on having a more positive body image... You got this! :)

You deserve better, go out there and find a man who will appreciate…

If you feel comfortable doing it, then go. I used to go to the sports bar to watch University of Texas football when I lived in KY and it wasn't available on any of the "regular" channels. It always felt a bit weird being a woman alone in a sports bar (even thou its TOTALLY acceptable for men to go to bars to watch sports…

My goal is 30-35 pounds and I barely fit in the 35-4 range (I will be 40 in December) but I'm in if ya want me! :) Read about your Depo on your profile! That is crazy. Friend of mine took those shots in college and did the same thing gained 40 pounds with no other lifestyle changes! Scared the hell out of me so I said NO…

I just got mine Tuesday night and I must agree with the others when I say it opens your eyes to how much you are really moving and makes you want to hit the target. That being said you indicated you had a knee injury and could not run yet? Fitbit primarily tracks your steps (like walking, elliptical, running) so if you are…

VERY well said! From a woman who has also spend much too much money on dexatrim, Hydrocut, quicktrim, advocare, Ace, metabolife (back in the day), slimfast, green tea extract miracle pills, etc, etc.. I can relate. I find his salespitch on new "miracle"cures a disgrace to his title as a "Doctor" he is, as you said nothing…

Not a stranger to the weight loss or fitness journey myself (can you say almost every pill and fad diet and then some?!?!) I have recently re-started on here to get back on track. Flying solo myself (ya know except for the seeking encouragement and validation from others part!) so feel free to add me and or message me of…

Yeah.. maybe he was trying to be helpful... but it didn't come off so much that way. I don't think I need AA (though another poster did suggest it can be helpful even it you're not an alcohohic!) I just need to have folks in my life that encourage me to be heathlier which is what the post was about and which most of the…
