  • - To get to my goal weight by New Year's Eve. - To get into a NZ size 12/14 by my birthday in October. - To buy my first house. - To get a part time job.
  • Sounds like me. Oldest is 4yo and youngest is 5 weeks tomorrow. I put on 30kg with the oldest. Just started loosing weight while TTC when I got pregnant with the youngest. I am breastfeeding the baby but still planning on loosing weight. Feel free to add me if you wish
  • I only have a new born but I find 280 calories extra a day plus exercise calories is fine when breastfeeding and allowing weight loss.
  • Congratulations and happy birthday!
  • I have all 3 levels on DVD thanks Emma. It's day 3 for me today. Hoping to get 1kg weights for it next week but feeling sore enough without them at the moment. I find the push ups are the worst as I've never really been able to do them.
  • I started this yesterday. Is anyone else still doing it? How did you find it?
  • Hi, I'm a newbie in this group as well. I gave birth 3 weeks ago to #2 though I still have lots of weight to loose before I'm in the final tone up stages.
  • Can I join? I just got it today though I haven't started it yet? Also been looking at success stories. It looks so good!
  • I just didn't bother logging it for Christmas day. I knew I would be over and I didn't do any exercise to combat it so didn't think it was worth worry about about. Back into it today though.
  • I'm at a compete loss as to what contraception to use from now on. I can't use the pill as I get a permanent period. Depo injection and Merina IUD are good as they remove the period completely except they make me gain weight not loose it! Also the Merina caused me to miscarry when I got it removed to ttc before I succeeded…
  • I'm using the PS3 version of Zumba and Pilates at the moment. I'm also doing some stretches with an exercise ball and thinking about adding some belly dancing to the mix as well.
  • I'm really bad at measuring and weighing myself most days. I have to make an effort to avoid the scales these days and only do it on Fridays. I try to measure with the tape on weigh in day as well. I measure by pulling the tape as tight as I can without pulling it so tight it stretches. General rule of thumb for me is if…
  • Finally conceived and gave birth to my second child after 9 months of trying to conceive and moved 5-6 hours drive away from the toxic in-laws.
  • I take pics regularly but no where near bikini stage yet lol. I get my non-scale victories by how much my waist and hips shrink with the measuring tape.
  • My problem is that the pantry is full of goodies for miss 4 and for hubby and so are tempting to eat them myself. I do have things like popcorn kernels and fruit etc available but most of it just feels like too much effort to bother with I guess. I really need to change that I think. Thanks for the ideas ladies.
  • Finger's crossed that it turns out to be nothing EmmaB.
  • Thanks Emma, I think I was added to it yesterday
  • Hi, I'm Patricia. I'm 28, a wife and a mother of 2 and live Hastings. I've just given birth to #2 and so want to proceed to loose the baby weight slowly and healthily. At this stage it is mostly maintaining my current weight or loosing no more than 1/2 pound a week at the most as I am also feeding baby. Hoping to find some…
  • Hi ladies. Think I'm finally over the MS. Haven't been sick since Thursday and got my FXed that it stays that way. Just finished my last exams and assignments for the semester so got plenty of free time until next semester starts. I've been getting the odd flutters every now and then but nothing constant yet. Had my 12…
  • Wow, some very inspiring birth stories there and some awesome inspirational pics. This is one of mine. I was about 17 at the time so taken about 10 years ago but it was at my healthiest weight. I have a few from much later on in life before I got pregnant with my first baby but there isn't any that don't have other people…
  • They'll most likely leave it alone. The furtherer along in the pregnancy the harder it is to determine the exact dates due to different growth patterns with each baby. I would imagine that you are probably carrying more in the back than the front and that baby is bigger than your size would indicate. I wouldn't worry about…
  • Hi Ladies. Sorry to be MIA for a week. Hubby had an assignment to do so hogged the laptop all week. Congrats to all the mummies who've just given birth.

  • Had my MW appointment today. Got my forms for bloods at 10 weeks and NT scan at 12 weeks.
  • Used to love when Celine was having hiccups. Her nickname used to miss hiccups for a while after she was born because she continued to have them after she was born.
  • Had my second midwife appointment today. She apparently likes to book every 4 weeks from the start rather than every 6. Didn't try to hear baby's heartbeat today but got my forms for bloods to be done at 10 weeks and NT scan to be done at 12 weeks. Very excited about the chance to see baby again. Still being sick…
  • I'm for immunizations. Celine is completely up-to-date on her ones and this baby will be the same. In my mind the benefits well out way any risks that the immunizations could cause.
  • Apart from the dirty house & alcoholic thing - you could have been describing my own in-laws. Basically we never left Celine alone with them when I could help it. In the end though - it worked out better for us to just cut them out of our lives completely.
  • Hey ladies. I think my MS is starting to settle down and ease off (yay!). Haven't had a chance to catch up yet but I will soon.
  • Hi everyone. I have read your posts but find it difficult to stay online for long periods at the moment. Will try to respond to everyone tomorrow.
