Between Kinect and playing crazy drums on Rock Band, I can say that I've definitely lost some weight while playing video games. It would be nice if I could do it while playing the shooters, too, but we can't have it all.

I have the Polar FT4, and I'm very happy with it - keeps track of calories burned, your burn zone, time working out, etc. You can usually find it for around $70-80. It comes with the chest strap - which you will want - for best accuracy.

My first thought wasn't a request for a real boyfriend - I was thinking the OP needed someone to step up and pretend to be a boyfriend for Facebook, emails or such. That seems to be more common all the time. Keep those pesky friends and family from asking so many questions about when you'll get a boyfriend, and such.

I used to have a high metabolism, ate whatever I wanted, and was always very skinny. Eventually, that metabolism WILL slow down a bit, and there will be some weight gain. Relatively speaking, I wasn't as unhealthy as I could have been, but there was still a lot of junk to cut out.
