Ha. I've never heard the Kevin Costner comparison. Thanks, all. =)

Mine doesn't come in around the lower cheeks and jawbone.

When I started, I weighed every day. I understood that the weight will fluctuate up and down, so I didn't worry about it going up even a couple of pounds. The reason I did it every day is I didn't want to miss the new low. If I weighed every Friday, for example, and my low for the week was on Wednesday, that would be more…

Daily fluctuations. It's all normal. If you stay on the plan, you'll lose weight. It won't happen linearly day by day, or sometimes not even week by week. Too many factors. But if you track your weight, you'll see it go down over time. When I got to a certain point, I wouldn't see any loss for 2 or 3 weeks, then suddenly I…

Bennett, there are several rules variants that can cause home runs to be outs in softball leagues, to prevent some teams from just jacking it over the fence every time up. There might be a 3 home run limit. Or the 'one up' rule where a team can only have 1 more HR than the opponent, so as long as both teams are hitting…

Had some home runs and touchdowns. I've bowled a 300 game. I was once coaching a 15 year old baseball team. We were having batting practice, and I asked to take a couple of swings. Took the first pitch over the left field wall. I handed the bat to the kid and said, "That's enough."

That was meant for GrnEyez. =)

Keep at it. I found the thrill of a new low on the scale was more rewarding than having too much ice cream. It's as addicting as the food. The best part about MFP is when you can have that guilt-free treat, and eat what you want, as long as you stay at your calorie goal. For me, it just cut down portions a bit and…

Yes, with a broken ankle. There was some kind of major car accident that had the ER very busy. HYE dated a friend's crush behind his/her back?

Red heads. Yea!

Sued Robert Zemeckis for using her likeness in Who Framed Roger Rabbit

Not three words. =)

Nice seventies photo.

No, but I take the Jeopardy test every year. Still trying. HYE flat-out stood someone up on a date?
-
Yes. I do it often for business. HYE lost more than $500 in a day gambling?

Pie.

And old prom dress, which she tries on occasionally and dreams about her first true love.

Ouch x3. =) 45, taken, nurse?

I am guessing that lack of crushes only exists in one direction.

Sparkly!

He's a bouncer at Bada Bing, and has "family connections."

Yes. Seems like it would be fun to have a beer with.

Thanks, Vismal and all. I am in the same boat now with Cristina.

Boxing wipes me out. I burn about 1000 calories doing about 45 minutes in a intro boxing class, according to my HRM. And that includes stretches, warmups, and going over new techniques. Once we get to throwing punches, slipping, bobbing, and footwork around the bag, it's a killer workout. I hung a heavy bag at home!

I am one of those who weighed in daily when I was losing. I wasn't expecting to see a lower number every day, though. I did it so that when the low number hit, I wouldn't miss it. There are times my number would be up by 4 pounds. I know it wasn't fat, because I know I didn't eat 14,000 calories over maintenance over the…

Not at all. I am in the same boat. If I am playing basketball, I can run up and down the court for over an hour or more until I wear out. But if I go for a jog, I am bored and give up quickly. It doesn't matter where you burn your calories. You could just walk, do gardening, take a part time job moving luggage at the…
