  • I like the awareness of knowing what my calorie intake is and having the ability to tweak it if I need to and be in control of my diet. If I end up taking in too many, I just get back on track the next day. Sounds like you are doing great if you are still losing weight even when your calories fluctuate. Wish you the best…
  • Wow....What an inspiration you are to others. Keep it up! Blessings,
  • Please add me to . I started MFP in January and I'm loving it! You might want to set your settings so your updates and posts are public......talk about accountability.
  • I agree with the others that you just have to give it more time. Sounds like you are doing all the right things. I would only recommend that you make sure you are eating enough. I am doing turbofire and when using the calculations recommend in the TurobFire book, it is more than 1500 calories recommended here at MFP. I did…
  • I don't have a valentine this year so I don't have to worry about the romantic dinner. I drink Chocolate Shakeology daily and will probably mix it with cherries on Monday. The Shake eliminates my chocolate and sweet cravings, but I just might treat myself to 1-2 pieces of Dove dark chocolate.
  • Welcome! And this is a great community to be in. Lots of support, great ideas, and success! I have found that logging my food and exercise has helped me tremendously in my weight loss goals. I can easily see where I need to improve and resolve to make better food choices. Plus the occasional slip up is put into perspective…
  • You can stall your weight loss if you don't eat enough calories. I did a whole round of P90X and my weight didn't budge. Lost inches, but scale didn't budge. I wasn't eating enough, was not logging my food and tracking what I ate and that's when I started MFP. For TurboFire, I was originally going by the "How many calories…
  • I'm 5'2 and want to get down to 125. I haven't seen 125 since I went through a 6 month Police Academy some 12 years ago. Although I am 12 years older, I believe I can do it. Ultimately, I want to be toned and fit and have a healthy BMI. Scale number is a bonus!
  • How is everyone doing with TurboFire? I started on the 17th.....did two workouts and got sick from a chest cold. I did week 1 over again the following week and I'm finally hitting it strong and I'm at end of week two. Honestly, I got sick of being sick and just worked out anyway. It actually helped clear my chest…
  • I have done P90X twice and about to start TurboFire on 1/17. I won $300 in the WOWy gym so I'll be buying Insanity with that money. I LOVE Beachbody. I have never cared for the gym atmosphere and just love the freedom of working out at home. Of course, my living room looks like my mini gym but I can live with that.…
  • I am starting on Monday 1/17 and would love to connect through these message boards! Getting myself ready to do the 5 day inferno diet. On a 3 day Shakeology cleanse in preparation for next week.
  • I am like you. Dark Chocolate I can't live without.
  • I just finished up with P90X Round II which is extreme. Hit a plateau because I wasn't watching my diet close enough. I'm getting ready to start TurboFire next week and I'm really excited about the results. The program walks you through everything you need to do, even how to eat to get your body ready to burn the fat.…
