Bump for my good pal Robert!

I wish I had some advice for you, but I don't. I'm in the exact same boat as you. When I first joined last month the weight dropped off like THAT.. But two weeks later nothing has changed.. Just keep at it and hope for the best.

Did you miss my smiley too?

Calling men boys isn't insulting? Haha. Not only that, but the topic could be considered sexist. =)
-
I wasn't correcting your spelling. You spelled boys correctly.
-
I love when people refer to older people as boys or girls. It's men and women, kthnx. :)

Public busses. I always think the cord is rigged to a bomb and never pull it..

I read the first comment and knew immediately what had happened! You couldn't fool me this time!!!!

Starting strength or Stronglift 5x5 are good programs for beginners that only require minimal equipment. You'd need a barbell, weights and a bench press/squat rack at the most. You can get away without the squat rack for the first few weeks as well, but you'll eventually come to a point where you're going to need one.

I use to get this sensation a while back when I first introduced myself to exercising. It was like my foot was falling asleep during my walks/jogs.. I read up on it and brought it to my doctor... The doctor said it might have something to do with a disk in my back, but as far as I know now the sensation is gone. It might…

I still need to get a food scale, but if you want an opinion i'd say don't even bother weighing your fruits and veggies unless they're crazy high calories. Most fruits and vegetables are so low in calorie you will hardly have anything to worry about when consuming them.

I second the Stronglift 5x5 program. Just stick to it and see what happens. I am not one to "rest" very often, so I usually do about ten minutes cardio on my lifting days mon, wed, fri and about 20-30 mins cardio all other days with the occasional rest day thrown in there. Lifting on my week days only takes about 15 minutes…

Even though i'm not as tall as him, mine is Ryan Hurst [ AKA Opie from SoA ]. He's got a nice body that isn't shredded beyond belief.

It would be dead even between Gryffindor or Slytherin. Slytherin has awesome colours, but Gryffindor are known as the "good guys". It's a toughy.

What everyone else said, in response to that OP. As for what you said about the 40/30/30.. It's definitely possible that's she's going over on carbs. [ That's my thought at least. ]

Batman. This is stupid. I also see it on facebook. There are a TON of movies without the letter "S."
-
Thank you for the responses!

Enjoy your warning from MFP staff... I made this thread the other day and apparently it violates one of their rules for not making fun of or correcting another persons spelling.
-
Bump.
-
I do mine at the same time! 2.5 minutes lifting for every 5 minutes of walking or jogging... I keep going until 45ish minutes are up!
-
It's things like this that will forever remain a mystery. Thanks for sharing! :)
-
Actually, he did.

See? I didn't know about the bloating from the salt, which is more than likely the case cause I was 1,000 over on that today. Weighing myself multiple times a day doesn't bother me because I can see my progress in the long run anyways... Thanks for the friendly response. Very helpful!
-
You're basically calling me dumb.. Arn't you helpful?

Okay! I'll just stick mostly to what i've been doing, which is the stronglifts and 30 minute cardios 6 days a week with perhaps some additonal dumbbell training on lifting days! Thanks for the helpful responses!
