Hey everyone. I'm coming here seeking help because I feel that my weight has not been budging much despite me eating the appropriate amount of calories, working out and making sure to eat back those exercise calories. I havn't been tracking on the website here for a little while, but I have been calculating everything…

TDEE - 20% Sedentary
So I used the Scooby Workshop calculator to figure out my TDEE -20%. I set my activity level to Sedentary, even though I do work out about 40 minutes every day.. Doing it this way, should I be eating back exercise calories? And before you all tell me to look at the roadmap, I have, I know all about it, I just prefer to do…

Should I be netting my BMR?
I've been seeing some progress in my weightloss journey so far, but have been seeing my progress slow down a little bit... I've been all over the board with calories by eating like 2600 one day and then 1800 the next... I just calculated my BMR on three different sites and I averaged at 2283 calories a day.. I like lifting as a form of exercise though. I know you're supposed to give your muscles time to repair [ over about 48 hours ], but my question is... Would it be…

Losing not loosing!
There is a difference people! Losing is the correct way to say, for example: "I am losing weight." Loosing is not a word! /end venting

When to lift weights?
So I was reading up on a little article the other day, which seemed to be a bit on the amateur side, but it said that when you're lifting weights, you should give your muscles 72 hours [ three days ] rest before going at them again. Is this true that you should really wait this long to allow the muscles to repair/build? It…

New to the community myself!
Hey everyone, I'm brand new to the community and website here, but from what I can see so far, this looks like an excellent site to keep track of my weightloss, to eat healthier and to receive support from like-minded individuals. I already started my weight loss about three weeks ago and am down from 250lbs to 240lbs, so…
