Like KDI said... and my doctor said when I asked her about mine, it goes away as your body gets used to lower blood sugar and there is no need to treat it.

MJ, it sounds like you don't have your macros set in MFP? If I'm right, you can change them by going to My Home > Goals > Change Goals > Custom. My recommendation - if you want to stay off meds - is go with as low a carb diet as possible... and try to have all the carbs come mostly from veggies. You can create new Check-In entries, under My Home > Check-In. You can create separate entries - pre-breakfast, post-breakfast, etc. It's a clunky way to do it, but it's at least something.

Spikes be darned... I eat fruit regardless. It keeps me from eating other, less healthy sweets (I love gummy bears and jelly bellys!), so I'll take the smaller spike over what those would do.
