  • Congratulations, you have figured out what I believe to be the hardest part of this, which is maintenance! 2888 consecutive days of logging is an incredible achievement and reinforces this as a lifestyle and not a temporary item to endure. Well done!
  • My lifting numbers were probably not far from yours, I was stronger by far at 45 than at 25. I'm 56 right now. I'm a big guy, 6'6" and over 400 today, but I'm still pretty strong. I'm a big fan of Peter Attila and have switched to more of a functional training. I no longer lift what I would consider heavy weights (over…
  • Congrats! I have always thought of 225 as the entry to being truly strong. I agree with @nossmf and @Motorsheen, it is likely the most important personal milestone and no matter how much stronger I got I never go beyond 225 without a spotter. • Hi Yirara, I'm very familiar with all the areas you are traveling in, I visit them at least annually and usually more frequently. Let me make some specific recommendations for you to consider. While you are in Utah, you should try Creminelli cured meats, Beehive cheese and Amano chocolate. All are local and have won awards…

Sometimes I make a frittata or Spanish tortilla (google it) which usually feeds me several meals. Add leftovers, veggies, etc. and put a big wedge on top of…

My kids literally do not like fast food burgers after years of my cooking. You two are young, it took me time to learn to cook food like that. It's a skill that…

  • I use seatguru.com whenever I fly. I also book my own flights, and look for flights that give me the widest seat possible. Getting on a large jet with an extra inch of seat width makes a lot of difference. I do use a seat belt extender, I can buckle most belts uncomfortably (under my gut) but the extender makes it a lot…
