It's NOT a race! The slower you lose it, the more likely you are to keep it off. We need more information about you to know whether you're eating too little or not – height, weight, age. If you are hungry all the time, then yes, you are probably not eating enough. Tell us more!

I know the feeling. I've lost 100 and when I look at the before and during photos I get a little discouraged. I still have at least another 100 to go, and I think the next 50 will be especially dramatic. At least that is what I'm hoping! :) You look great. Keep up the good work.

I love hiking and want to do it more. :) That's a wonderful view!

You can definitely do it. I have over 200 pounds to lose total, and so far I've lost 102. I won't tell you that it has been easy, because it hasn't, but it also hasn't been wholly unpleasant, either. I am taking my time with it so that I can eat in a sustainable way and enjoy the things I love. At the same time, I have…

It's a log. It's a record of what you're eating. There's no judgement attached to it. I log every day – the good, the bad, the ugly. It's a habit I have formed over time that helps me stay accountable.

Hi again, everyone. I wanted to report in on my "progress" – unfortunately I have bounced up a few pounds since losing the 100, but I am holding on. Yesterday I did a full purge of ALL the clothes not serving me well in my life and made the decision to get rid of everything that was too big, even just a little, and…

You already know that I am dazzled by your accomplishments, but I'll say it here publicly, too. You really inspire me!
-
Thank you thank you!

100 pounds lost doing it. I recently posted a "Success Story" titled "How to lose 100 pounds" you can check out if you like. :)

You guys, thanks so much again. I am glad that my story is inspiring you! Funny enough, I've hit kind of a hard time since posting, but I am NOT giving up. I've gained too much positive stuff to go back from where I came. No way, no how. If anyone wants to be friends, I am happy to – but as stated on my profile page,…

Will do! :) Thank you!!!

Thank you thank you all! I can't wait to get the rest of the weight off, too. But it is amazing what a difference there is even now. I just came home from a short vacation that involved a day at the beach and I was in heaven. It was a totally different experience now that I am not so ashamed of my body. It is still far…

Thank you both! Yes, totally – one day at a time is the only way to do it.

Looking great!

Thank you both!

My biggest tips are: Start with small changes that are sustainable. GO SLOW. This is not a race. Don't beat yourself up when you're not perfect. There was one month when I only lost a pound. I didn't give up. Find exercise you like to do. DON'T GIVE UP.
-
Thanks to you both! I still have a long ways to go, but know that I can get there! And I will!
-
Thank you! I get a lot of comments about my smile in real life. :)

What everyone else said. C25K is great, I did it several times on my own, but what really got me on track was when I joined the Learn to 5K program at my local Fleet Feet store. If you don't have that in your area, I am sure there is some sort of local running group you could join for support and camaraderie – runners are…

I am inspired by your story! Awesome stuff. :)

I'd say so... I'm on my way to losing 100 pounds so far, just a few to go. After that, another 100 plus. It can be a long haul, but if you're patient and diligent, you can do it.

45!

I have over 200 pounds to lose, and I'm almost to the 100 pound mark. It takes time and effort, diligence and patience, but it can be done!
-
I also wonder why this was posted in "Success Stories". :(

I generally run four times a week, and I play tennis with my partner 3-5 times a week, ride my bike a bit, and take walks here and there, incorporate yoga when I can... I've become pretty darned active! :) I LOVE running.

You all can stand by what you believe, and I will stand by what I believe. Anything can be taken to a detrimental extreme. I am not doing that, however, and as I said, I am still getting fine results over a year in this journey of mine! I am in it to win it, and, yes, I am dead serious about it. Thank you for helping me…
-
I am not judging you, though. I would just choose not to friend you based on what I've seen here in the forums, as you would choose not to friend me knowing what you know. I guess that could be considered judging but I'm not sure why you are taking such offense by it. We all have criteria for those we wish to be friends…

Jesus. You said: "Yes really and if you all don't like it don't send me FR..." I'm not sure how it is I am judging you now. At all. I'm not at such a low calorie goal, no. I said earlier, I am trying to eat in a way that is sustainable for the long haul. I have plenty of cals to play with. I usually don't eat back all my…

Yes, I very well understand. I'm not stupid. In the meantime, what I have been doing has gotten me through the first part of my journey and I wanted to share that.
-
Trust me, I would NOT be sending you a FR. I'm not offended, but only surprised at how judgmental people can be. Everyone's experience is different. I'm sure that when I get closer to goal my approach will change, but logging activity like that has been how I've done things, and I wanted to share that since it was another…
