LOTS OF VEGGIES!!! They are very low cal. And do some exercise each day so you can have a little more :)

Yes, I have been recovering since March, and have gained nearly 20 pounds!!! I'm worried that I gained too much fat tho...
-
I'm in recovery as well. I honestly eat anywhere from 2000-3500 cals a day depending on how easy the day is. I do a lot of exercise tho. And I have been in recovery since march and Ihad only gained 8-9 pounds in the 4 months eating that much, and I still have 7 pounds to go!

I've been vegan for a year and a half and love it!!!

thanks I've tried to cut down but the only real way that's possible is to eat less healthy as I tend to eat a lot of fruit, veggies, beans, brown rice, and oats. I don't feel like it's a problem so I won't worry about it :)

Maybe try eating two smaller meals a day, and then three smaller meals. Once your eating three meals you can work on increasing the size of the meals. :)

I eat like 3000 cals a day :) Normally. But I'm in ED recovery...so I suppose to gaining... and I do a lot of exercise

I'm a working student under the guidance of a pro rider and I'm working on becoming a pro myself, so I exercise every day as part of my job.

I'm in AN recovery and I am starving all the time! I'll legit eat a 700 cal breakfast and be starving an hour later! I wake up and can only think about breakfast. It kind of freaks me out. This probably isn't helpful but your not alone!!!

On a non binge day I'm eating like 2500 cals! My bmi is 17.2... And I do around 600-1000 cals of exercise a day...
-
I know that restrictive eating leads to binging, but how can I stop restricting if I can't stop binging? I feel like I'm stuck...

No therapist. I have no money. And that's why is said recovering, not recovered.

I'm sorry you have this problem, because it sucks! I can't stop obsessing to. And if I don't log, I'm scared to eat because I don't know how much I've had that day. Maybe you should talk to someone...?

I'm not trying to get pregnant. I'm only 21! I just want to be healthy...

Hi! I'm 5'6 and currently 106 pounds. GW 115

NUTS and AVACADOS! They are healthy and high in cals. And you wont get flabby, just exercise and you'll gain muscle, not fat. :)
-
You wish you were me? Why? I'm underweight and have a super illogical fear of gaining, but I know I need to. Its messed. And I'm sorry, I'm about the worst person to ask advise in this area. I always feel stuffed to. Maybe try high cal foods, like nuts, nut butters, avocados, smoothies, and dried fruit. As for protein, I…

thank you everyone. One problem is that I'm a broke 21 year old student with zero extra money for doctors and therapists. So that isn't really an option. I went to a doctor for a bit when I was at a lower weight but I really don't have the money for that anymore... I'll try to keep gaining or at least maintaining.

I recently got my period for the first time in over 6 months! Which is partly why I think I'm healthy now. But I've been spotting on and off ever since. Why is that? Because I didn't get it for so long? P.S. I don't really like going to the doctor. They are annoying...

K I'll try to keep going. I think part of the problem is I have a lot of clothes that I bought when I was very underweight and they are tighter on me know and that makes me feel huge. Shopping spree?

I am vey active. I ride/train/sell horses as part of my job. The problem is that when I do that I often burn 1000 cals in a day. So I've been eating like 3000 cals a day and only gaining very slowly. But when I eat 3000 cals I feel like I'm binging and I hate it! Also I feel like I've gotten quite big, which I know isn't…
