I use Syntha-6 chocolate shake for no other reason except it's delicious. Well, it does help for when I'm on the go too.

I'm 6 months postpartum. I started eating at maintenance, and I lowered the intensity of my workouts just a bit. I had the mindset that I was only going to gain 15 lbs. I gained 25 lbs, but then dropped fifteen pounds at the very end due to gestational diabetes and only being able to eat meat. Don't freak out. Talk to your…

I've tried making a mocha with my chocolate protein powder. It actually worked okay, but then I read that the heat can mess up the benefits of the protein.

I think I love you. That or insanely jealous.

I take Natural Calm. It's in a powder form that dissolves in water. I only take about 80mg a day, since it's a natural laxative. I've been taking it for postpartum anxiety and it's helped a ton. I also take an Omega-3 with it.

I hate spinning. I think it's for crazy people.

It is nobody's business what I'm eating.

I'm on week 3. I've never got to finish the program. I always seem to sprain an ankle or get knocked up before I can finish it.

You need protein for breakfast. Try doing a homemade egg mcmuffin, it only takes about 3 minutes to make. It's 290 calories and a lot more filling or you could boil some eggs and eat those on the go.

Did you start your C25K right at 6 weeks? Were you already a runner? How did you feel physically once you started the C25K program?

I'm five weeks PP and I'm chomping at the bit to get back to lifting heavy. I have done a few things such as body weight squats, bicep curl, push-ups (that was over doing it) and I tried bench presses today (again over doing it). I would love to see some post c-section lifting regiments and when they were started. The only…

The HRM isn't really accurate for strength training. I used a Body Media for a month to figure out how much I burned during strength training and it ended up being a little over half of what my HRM was saying. So, I still use my HRM but I cut the calories it says I burned in half.

I won't say it's muscle, but it's most likely water weight.

Congratulations! I'm pregnant too, there's some of us still on here.

I had it for over a year. I got it from running in regular running shoes. I switched to Vibrams and it worked itself out. I also did and still do, a lot of stretching for that area. You can find stretches and exercises for it on Youtube.

I'm in Fairborn.

I hate that I know what tonsil stones are, and that I have to experience them.

Well, I just put my info on the old thread so I guess I'll bump over here.

Hello. My name is Sunshine. I've been on MFP for about 1.5 years. I'm about 7 weeks with my second child. I'm 36 years old. I'm pretty nervous about staying in shape since I worked so hard to lose the weight I had previous to getting pregnant. The doctor has not really put any restrictions on my exercise regiment. He did…

Well, fat loss will come from your diet. You can workout your legs more, but you what you'll be doing is building muscle under the fat. So it's possible they'll get bigger if you work them more without working on total fat loss.

You can't spot reduce.

Carly Simon. It must be my big mouth.

I've read the best thing you can do for push-ups is get off your knees. Instead, start against a wall or on a bench and work your way to the floor.
-
I can do 10 regular.

I always post a loss. But if I gain, I usually give myself a week to get it off.

We hike, ride our bikes and a lot of our metro parks have water fountains for kids to play in.

It's a good thing, I'm too old to give a hoot what anyone thinks.

Check out Bodybuilding.com. They have tons of information. Also, the book The New Rules of Lifting for Women is good. I've heard Starting Strength is good as well, but I can't say one way or the other.

I always thought it was funny how some (myself included) thinks, "Well, he treats me better than (insert any name here) or does." and we seem to settle with that. Him cheating on his wife should let you know, he's not a nice guy. I'm sure she's got some blame in the relationship problems too. It's never just one person's…
