I have gone from getting compliments at work like, " I love that dress, shirt",whatever I'm wearing to, " You look amazing in that!". It's a very different feeling to see the change in how people perceive the new you.

I love coffee!! So when I have it up 2 weeks pre-op I went through major withdraw, I've been drinking a cup everyday since I was a 6th grader. I am 3 months post-op and started craving it badly. Straight coffee without my old fattening creamer just annoyed my new stomach. I found Chike Coffee Protein and it is yummy! I add…

I had to do the two week post op liquid diet as well. 3 protein shakes a day and sugar free jello, sugar free Popsicles, and one shake could be replaced with a broth. It was so hard the first three days and the challenge was mental. I literally had to wrestle with my mind that I can do this, and I made it through. My…

Doing great! Getting my 64 oz of water in a day and hitting or getting really close to my protein goal, some days it's hard. I was excited to add excercise in(besides walking) 3 times this week. Did some lights weights and elliptical. It I find I get really tired way before I used to. How are you doing?

Welcome! We had surgery the same day.

Thank you for sharing all of your experiences and advice with me. I have been taking Biotin since before surgery and trying really hard to reach my protein goal daily. Fingerscrossed it will be minimal. April

Thanks I think that's what is was. I stopped using Isopure and sure enough it went away. Crazy! I've never been allergic to anything.

I am three weeks out and 1/4 cup is all I can fit. It was a struggle to get the 1/4 in at the beginning due to everything still healing and gas. Now it's easier to get it down. Give it some time and I'm sure you'll be able to get the 1/4 in.

Wishing you the best! Exciting times ahead!

All great ideas! Thank you for your feedback I think I'll start off with a snug tank and move up in the world of support undergarments. Yes I am blessed to work in such a large school that walking is a must. Summer will be my challenge because walking in our 100 degree weather is not my favorite.

Incisions are healing well. Doc covered them with derma bond so they are sealed and healing. You are right I think I'll give is a few weeks before putting spanx on so I ensure no rubbing.

Doing well DixieD79! Hating all the liquids also, I feel like I floating in them. The protein shakes (beneprotein and nestle carnation sugar free mix) the dietician wants me to follow are disgusting! Just trying to grin and bear it for 2 weeks. I can have like cream of wheat and strained oatmeal but I have no room left for…

I am two days post op today. During my 2 day hospital stay nausea was my biggest hurdle. After they gave me the patch I was good to go. The main things I am battling is the gas and the soreness. I am getting my fluids in and feeling stronger everyday!

Made it through! Had to stay in hospital for 2 nights. Doc found a hiatal hernia that needed to be repaired when he got in there. Now I'm just so sore. When did you all start feeling normal?

Thank you for your support! You all have been a wealth of information!
