I would suggest a coffee and a protein shake before workout, and waiting 30 minutes after workout to eat anything else. You have to deplete the glycogen supply (stored glucose) before fat burning kicks in. The sugar in the banana will work against fat loss, if that is your aim.

My range is: w = 0.5*m -5 to 0.5*m + 10, where m is my age, and w is the woman's age. (w is greater than legal minimum age of consent). So for me a 59 that puts the range from 25 to 40 for starting a relationship with someone.
