That's great. If the program fit's nicely in your life, you enjoy it, means you spend quality time with your boyfriend and you get the required results then ignore the naysayers and stick with it. Good luck.

Anyones welcome to add me, running keto at the moment pre contest. Amazing how effective the diet is when you get it dialed in right.

What are your macro's set at? People usually don't get enough fat on low carb diets but with that being said intense cardio is a bad idea on keto, walking sub 120bpm is all you need. If you want to keep up the intense cardio then I'd eat carbs preworkout, a banana might be enough for what you need, time to experiment.

Full fat cream cheese mixed with myprotein toffee flavdrops, sea salt and peanut butter. Thank me later.

Coconut milk if you're not scared of high fat...700 plus calories a can, swig a can in seconds, tastes incredible, add it to all sorts of dishes...even freeze it for ice lollies.

If you find it difficult eating enough calories then protein shakes are very useful as it's far easier to drink a lot of calories than it is to physically eat them. I'd suggest getting a quality isolate protein powder in any flavour you fancy (relex microwhey is a good one), also purchase some fine ground oats, mix with…

Look good. What are you doing diet wise?

Got 2 mountain bikes, I need to sell one really! Too flat over your way....West Yorkshire is where it's at ;)

I must of posted this a million times but it's so good so here goes again. 100g full fat soft cheese, 30g crunchy peanut butter, 5 Myprotein Toffee Flavdrops and a good pinch of coarse sea salt. Mix cheese, flavdrops and salt together thoroughly, then roughly mix in your peanut butter and eat, tastes like peanut butter…

Whats the macros? I'm going to try this I think, thanks.
-
If you haven't already you should try pure isolate. No issues anymore for me.

Well I've been overweight and it was nothing other than lack of discipline and gluttony that got me there. I'm ashamed I got like that and rightfully so...if that offends so be it.
-
Well yeah but how long could someone manage on the dose required for that without death or serious illness...2/3 weeks...then negate rebound?

Well I see an osteopath when I get injured or feel somethings off. I see the osteopath as a cure but get deep tissue massages as the prevention.

The only legal one I know of is yohimbe. The pseudo ephedrine pills suppress appetite but I doubt they directly burn any tangible amount of fat. Illegally bought fat burners work, can think of 3 off the top of my head. Nothing touches an effective diet though.

I add garlic, lime, coriander, chopped fresh chilli, sea salt and pepper and form it into burgers. Tastes amazing.

My mother issues.

Playing devils advocate here but OP appears to be FAR bigger than all the people in this thread who are so adamant that he's wrong. Unless he's lying about his natty status then what gives?

I can see how they'd be useful but I can also see how they could easily lead to been overly obsessive over food, so for me personally I avoid them.

When on keto I mix a good quality, high fat soft cheese with myprotein toffee flavdrops, sea salt and peanut butter...like peanut butter toffee cheesecake, minus the base. You'll EASILY get your fat macros with this in your diet plus it's delicious.

Who cares?

Well they're both of equal importance but if I had to choose then good sex because I need that whereas true love I don't need, just want.
-
Been on keto during the last weeks of contest prep, I start carbing up tomorrow! I'll be getting back on it in a week or so though. Added.

Whey, coconut milk, peanut butter and banana.

This. Get to 10/12% bodyfat then reassess.

I want to grow whilst keeping fat gain to an absolute minimum. By eating my carbs only around workouts I increase insulin sensitivity (google fat gain and insulin) and my body better deals with those carbs when I consume them. I have no need for carbs at any other time than around my workout but when I do want those carbs…
-
Higher protein, keep carbs centered around workouts only.
-
The Gold Standard is a blend whereas I assume the Myprotein is pure isolate and if that's the case go with the isolate every time.

I like to do both and cover all bases. I'll warm up using lower weight and higher reps, as weight increases, reps decrease. Once I'm up to my working set (say 5-8 reps) i'll then drop the weight down and finish with a high rep set or several to failure. I'm looking to progress in weight from the previous week, this is…
