  • Feel free to add me (goes for anyone). I'm back again after a long time off and am logging in every day and tracking everything.
  • I worked on building my workbench in the garage all day on Saturday and just knew my back would hurt when I went mountain biking on Sunday. I rode Sunday, really hard, and had NO BACK PAIN. It's not so much the weight loss (although that helps) as it is all of the core work I've been putting in. I love to ride, but that…
  • It's funny, but I had the song "I'm on top of the world" by Imagine Dragons in my head as I was reading it. Thanks a lot for this.
  • I ate 4 Subway oatmeal cookies yesterday. They are 200 calories each. Yesterday was my rest day so that was a double suck. I'm ok with it though, I only went over a few hundred calories for the day and I've already worked out strong this morning. You can't let days get in the way of weeks or calories get in the way of…
  • I've done over 40 races and a half dozen half marathons, I've never had to weigh myself before signing a waiver. What kind of race was this? Were you signed up as a Clydesdale?
  • I'm pretty much doing it alone. I have a friend I work out with once in a while, but he's not losing weight. I use this site to track my food, but don't participate much in the forums. I like going solo for weight loss because I don't have to change my schedule around another person's schedule. One nice thing about being…
  • I like Danni and I like the Biggest Loser. Until someone proves that it's all fake and BS, then I will believe it. People lose weight all the time, some on TV, most not, doesn't make the weight loss any less real. Sure people that go on the show sometimes gain back the weight, same thing happens to people not on TV. Could…
  • There are a lot of marathons in October, you can sign up for one of those. I live in Richmond, va and we have a really good training program for marathons, if you can run 3 miles, then by the end of training, you can run a marathon. I know you didn't say you wanted to run a marathon but... How about inviting some of the…
  • Time, you took the time to lose the weight...
  • Running on a treadmill is exercise. Running on the roads are fun. Running trails is awesome. I hate running on treadmills.
  • I don't get that because I haven't lost enough weight, but it doesn't surprise me. People hate other people because of weight loss, successful careers, or any number of things. It's up to you to lose the weight and if you don't want to try, even try, don't get pissy with me.
  • My daily limit is 1440. I'm trying to lose 1.5 lbs a week. Without working out, I would have a hard time doing it. I gave up on sodas, diet and regular, french fries, cookies, etc. I workout 6 days a week and on the 7th day, I do a power walk. I normally get at least 200 calories back from exercise. Yesterday I did a 2.5…
  • I need to lose about 40 lbs. I randomly picked a goal weight based on BMI. I may end up at that weight or less or more. I use this site and my fitbit to help with my weight loss. Since I started a month ago losing weight, I've lost every week. I weigh in every Tuesday and I look forward to that day like crazy. My goal is…
  • I did a Spartan race last year as as part of signing up, I got a daily workout from them. Here is the link to sign up for them, http://www.spartanrace.com/wod/. I found that even though my buddy was doing P90X, these workouts were hard for him. They sucked for me too, but I was out of shape. They are pretty fun and most…
  • I have Graves disease, a side effect is hyper-thyroid. A side effect of hyper-thyroid is losing weight from an increased metabolism. Awesome right? Except having that high metabolism killed my ability to work out. My HR started to be an issue when I hit 190 BPM while slowly jogging. So I had to take off a couple years from…
