Do: Say something funny. Talk to me naturally, the same way you would talk to one of your friends. Don't: Interrogate me and make me answer a million boring questions about where I'm from, what I do etc. the very first second you speak to me. I'm usually at a fun event or party and just want to have fun, not trying to have…

What what!

I've seen this before, and although it is a decent enough rough idea of bodyfat percentages, different women can look extremely different at the same bodyfat percentages. The woman at 30% in these pictures carries her weight amazingly well, not really typical, I'd say. And the woman at 25% doesn't look as fit as most women…

Because, I'm so close to my goal, TDEE - 20% for me is 1417 calories.

Looks pretty hot to me!

I had one when I was on vacation visiting my family. They are sugary and caloric, but if you stay within your calories and have one occasionally as a treat, you should be fine. Definitely not something you want to be drinking regularly, though.

Bolthouse Farms dressings are good with lots of lettuce and a little tomato.

I only have about 5 more pounds, so I'm almost there! Not sure what I'll do; maybe wear a crop top in public and take up pole dancing.

I used to work out regularly and try to eat mostly healthy and didn't understand why I wasn't skinnier. I was on the borderline of being overweight to about 5 pounds overweight, but I wanted to be thinner. It turns out I just needed to eat less. Eating too much healthy food makes you gain weight, too. Even though I was…

How tall are you, and what is your goal weight? Are you eating back exercise calories? When you are already at a low weight, weight comes off really slowly. I only lose like 1 or 2 pounds a MONTH now that I am close to my goal weight. Because women's weight fluctuates so much with water weight, sometimes it is hard to see…

love having friends with similar stats! I'm 5'7'' SW:159 CW:134 GW:125-128 or 20-22% bodyfat Exercise: HIIT, pilates, yoga

I look in the database and see the calories listed for similar foods and pick one based on how many calories seems appropriate for what I ate. If you've been counting calories awhile, you start to be able to tell what is reasonable estimate for what you ate. I know that I eat a super small, low-cal sandwich that I bring to…

Your body shape is going to stay the same; you will just get smaller. If you are an apple, pear, or hourglass, you will stay that shape. I lost inches in my waist, but very slowly. I carry my weight mostly in my lower body, so that didn't change. I'm the same proportions pretty much, but all my measurements went down.

Awesome work! You look fabulous!

I do. I weigh pretty much every morning. I know my weight may be slightly higher, so I know to expect that. I like to know where my body is at, including whether I'm holding water weight or not. It lets me know to drink more water and maybe take a midol. Pretty much anytime the scale goes up, even if it's due to water…

It's a good idea to cut wheat/gluten out of your diet for a month and see how you feel. If you do have a gluten intolerance, you will notice a big change in the way you feel. If you don't have a gluten intolerance, you won't really notice any change. Gluten-free is not always the healthier option if you don't have a…

I think it's negative. Women can be sexy at any age and date whomever they feel like without getting called some dumb, stereotypical label. It's like someone saying,"You look good for your age." Just say, "You look good."

1. Log your food honestly and accurately. 2. Don't keep junk food in the house. 3. Pack a healthy lunch and snacks for when you're at work 4. Limit eating out 5. Weigh yourself daily (This isn't for everyone, but it motivates me and helps me to prevent gains) 6. Don't make foods off-limits. Instead, allow yourself to have…

I tend to eat really simple things that don't go bad easily. I make frozen veggies, shrimp, turkey burgers, chicken breasts, fish filets, brown rice, baked potatoes, salads, cottage cheese, sandwiches, cereal, oatmeal, eggs, pitas, wheat tortillas, chicken sausage, canned soup, and amy's frozen meals for when I'm being…

I use stevia frequently, and haven't experienced any negative effects. It hasn't affected my weightloss or cravings.

You look great! Amazing work!
-
Yep. 3-4 pound gain after Christmas Eve and Christmas. I always weigh in and face the music; I find it motivating.
-
I don't really see logging as a chore. I find nutrition really interesting, so it's interesting to me to see how many calories foods contain and their macro ratios etc. It's kind of like a game to me, the challenge of trying to fit in foods I like into my goal and to get my macro ratios right and fight the temptation to go…

I'm 5'7'' and have gone from 160 to 135 in a little less than a year (started 1/15/13). The last 5 I've lost came off super slowly because my deficit is smaller now. I'm eating around 1500 calories now. I eat back some exercise calories, but rarely more than 350 calories. If I eat more than 1900 calories a day, even with…

I have to maintain the lower weight for a week straight before I record it.
-
Because I'm really really close to my goal, my deficit is really small. When I first started losing weight, I would go over my calorie goal by 100-200 calories a few days a week and would still lose. I recalculated my TDEE on several different sites and found that now those little overages were putting me pretty much at…
-
I keep changing mine as I get closer, It was originally 135, but I'm pretty close to that now, and there's still a few areas I want to be leaner. I'm thinking something between 128 and 133 depending on how I feel.

Up your protein and do weight training.
-
My go to work morning breakfast is either a protein shake or a higher protein cereal (like Kashi or Special K protein) and a coffee with milk. I tend to be really hungry in the morning, so I usually always need a little snack before lunch. I try to keep the snack around 100-150 calories. It's usually a 150 calorie Dotfit…

When you are already thin, you can lose weight still; it just comes off slower. Now that I'm almost to my goal, I only lose .5 pound a week. Put your stats into an online TDEE calculator and see what your TDEE is. You have to eat under that number consistently to lose weight. Because you'll be losing slowly, it is harder…
