Have the pizza! I'm planning on Chinese takeout for dinner, and that's probably more calories than pizza

I'm having the same issues. The recent foods showing up are the things I ate last week and stuff from this morning or yesterday are nowhere to be found.

shrimp (I usually just stir fry it with veggies), tuna

I don't really eat high protein, but ok

2.8 pounds in a little over a month isn't really that low, especially if you don't have a ton of weight to lose
-
You don't necessarily need to limit fat and carbs to lose weight, calorie deficit is all that matters  Have you recalculated calories since losing weight? Its recommended to do so for every 10 pounds lost. (Smaller body naturally burns less calories because of gravity=lower BMR, etc). Also, how long have you been at…

Food is the most overused depression "drug" and exercise the most underused anxiety "drug". Use the stress to fuel workouts. I find yoga helps, also (and I have serious anxiety) And I definitely second the suggestions of getting outdoors!

That could likely be when you ovulate, so that's not weird at all.

Yes, go to a doctor or urgent care, I would be concerned about a kidney problem. Sending you positive thoughts!

Also a daily weigher, so I can see the normal fluctuations (esp. being female since hormonal cycles can affect weight so much) If you feel like that would make you obsessive or something, then don't, weighing weekly or monthly is fine.
-
Yes, my weight peaks during ovulation also.

Honestly, there's not much you can do except be consistent about logging, staying at your calorie goal, and exercising, so being emotional won't help you. (much easier said than done though, I know  ) Just stick with it, and try not to let it get to you. Try finding NSVs instead of focusing on the pounds. Also,…

I think digital scales are generally more accurate (someone please correct me if I'm wrong.) But if you're weighing before and after you eat, that's going to be some of the discrepancy, plus your weight will naturally fluctuate throughout the day. All scales can also vary some, because of the surface they're on, how…

Do you have a friend or family member nearby that would let you use their oven once a week to hard boil eggs, or cook up some chicken (or meat of your choice) to shred up and toss into salads, a sandwich, etc?

What they said, and yes any hormonal issues you've got going could absolutely be a factor.

Hi! I lost 40 pounds after my first kid (who is now almost 5) and then gained quite a bit back with a second pregnancy followed by postpartum depression, and I'm looking to lose about 60 pounds this time around. Anyone feel free to add me  Also, two weeks pp is pretty quick to start trying to lose weight, so if…

Many people find it helps energy levels, and I found it helped my mood problems when I had postpartum depression...so I guess it could give you more energy to workout, but no, there's no magic fat burning properties in them.

You can set your goals to gaining weight instead of losing weight, which you will allow you more calories. I did that while pregnant.
-
Slowly decrease the amount of stuff you add until the calories are much less. I used to only be able to do super sweet coffee, but now I've gotten myself down to about 1 fluid oz of milk (either regular or unsweetened almond, depending on what I've got) and no sugar/sweetener. Adding any sugar seems sickly sweet to me now.

I was having a similar issue...

That's how you can remove an item from your diary

Sorry, you're right. I got distracted and forgot her original post. Inaccurate logging is her problem most likely (but if she is only trying to get 800, that would be a problem also.)
-
It really doesn't matter...sweetener is lower calorie. Personally I can't stand the taste of sweetener (I also get a scratch in my throat if I eat sweeteners, so I'm one of the people who has some kind of sensitivity to them) If you can fit in the calories for a little bit of sugar, then use whichever you prefer. Taste…

45 pounds in basically 2 months is going to be tough; probably impossible, unless you're VERY obese. Logging your food accurately and hitting or staying under the calorie goal you're given by MFP when you put your stats in is where you need to start. Have you read the stickies at the top of the message boards?

Thrift store shop for needed pieces as you lose weight. I seem to have things in a variety of sizes anyway, and certain things can be flattering when they're tighter and still when they're looser, so I use things as long as I can. I wouldn't do any major shopping until you reach a goal weight, but a few pieces while you…

Chocolate covered potato chips are amazing. You can't go wrong with sweet and salty in one bite!

1) No sugar would really be impossible, unless you're cutting out fruits and veggies, which would not be recommended 2) Your body NEEDS sodium. Seriously it does. Yes, the SAD usually has too much, but saying NO salt is ridiculous. 3) "Processed food" tends to be high calorie, so it can be harder to fit in when you're…

Gluten free helped my IBS a ton

Are you cooking your own food? You can use the recipe builder to accurately track meals you're making. On days when you're eating for a special family meal, either ask them for the recipe, or just eat a reasonably sized portion, log as close as you can, and let it go, because that shouldn't be a daily occurrence, and…
