Pescetarians eat fish but no red meat or poultry, vegetarians eat no flesh, vegans eat no animal products.

You can still eat clean, you just need to add a few calorie dense things to your diet. Cheese and nuts are great ideas! You could try switching to full fat milk, or if there any treats you miss, find a cleaner version of them to eat-if you like chocolate, you can get good quality organic chocolate, if you like ice cream,…

Bumping for recipes. I haven't tried this yet, but we started carrying a tropical fruit salsa where I work, and I really want to make fish tacos with it. What type of fish would anyone suggest I use? I've never made fish tacos before.

Mine is always open!

I love to pretend I only read "real literature" (****ens, Austen, Fitzgerald) but I LOVE going back and rereading the Sweet Valley High books that I read over and over and over again when I was, like, 12.

1.) Plan your food the day before as much as possible 2.) Fill up on low cal veggies and lean meats, and keep your carb portions smaller-most carbs are more calorie dense.

I have an almost 2 year old, and I love British people! I've been on MFP for albout a year and half. Feel free to add me!

It's normal for weight loss to slow down after you've been cutting calories for awhile. Also, as you get closer to a goal weight you want your deficit to get smaller-if you initially set MFP to have you lose 2lbs a week, you would want to change it to 1 lb and eventually half a pound, then you'll get more calories to eat.…

I agree with you. Parents should not wrap their whole identity up in their child.

I try to stay under 200g of carbs-I had gestational diabetes and I keep to a close approximation of the diet I was on for that. I don't know if 200g is really considered low or not, but I would go crazy if I did any less, and I HAVE to plan my days in advance to even keep to this. If you don't have a medical reason to go…

Spaghettios! I agree with those saying they wouldn't eat gas station food-guess I'm a food snob too :)

Cauliflower Fritters: Boil until tender, mash, mix with egg, some spices, and a few bread crumbs if you want. Shape into patties and fry in a little oil or butter, until browned.

4 pounds in 1 month is actually a good loss. I second the using a food scale. If you hadn't been working out before, your muscles may be holding on to some extra water with your new activity.

I would definitely do lightly active. Sedentary would be if you were sitting basically all day.

Dark chocolate almond milk satisifies my chocolate cravings.

You can use canned chickpeas for this recipe, just drain them really well.

I was having a really hard time reaching my protein goals too, but I've started eating tuna regularly and that helps a lot-plus the cans are cheap and convenient. I also like to cook up a few chicken breasts and shred or cube them and have that to snack on for a few days.

vanilla yogurt with berries, a square of good chocolate, and vanilla or chocolate almond milk are some of my go-to sweet treats

Make sensible choices, but if there's something you really want to splurge on, go for it and enjoy it!

I think I'm a good cook, and my hubby hasn't complained yet. I 've been wanting to establish "meatless mondays" for a while, but never stick to it! I'd be happy to share any recipes, and if anyone wants to give me vegetarian recipes, that would be great! I sent you a friend request, OP.

Why don't you eat when your kids eat dinner? You could prep meals in advance, so you just have to heat something up and eat. Time of day doesn't matter for weight loss though, so if you don't eat until 9pm, that's not going to affect weight loss.

I'm returning to school in the fall, after dropping out 7 years ago, to get my degree in English and a minor in art history. I can't wait to go back! Anyone feel free to add me

I'm working on the last 10-15 lbs too! I took a sort of break form dieting that last couple months and was really happy I didn't gain any weight back. Anyone can feel free to add me!
