If you aren't already using one, get and use a food scale. Weigh all solids. Measuring cups/spoons are not accurate:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVjWPclrWVY
Neither is guessing:

Are you weighing and measuring everything you consume?????
Edited, because I missed the part that you have lost 4 lbs in a month. That's actually just fine!!! You didn't gain the weight over night, so you can't expect to lose it over night. 4 lbs is good, that's 1 lb a week.0 -
If you're lost 4 pounds in a month, that's losing weight. And at a fairly decent rate, I might add, especially considering you're only got about 40 pounds to lose, per your ticker. Stop being so hard on yourself and expecting the weight to all fall off immediately just because you've put in a month of work. I know we all wish it worked that way, but it doesn't.
1 pound per week is great - congratulations!!0 -
4 pounds in 1 month is actually a good loss. I second the using a food scale. If you hadn't been working out before, your muscles may be holding on to some extra water with your new activity.0
