  • I missed last week's weigh in because I was in Chicago for a cake decorating class and didn't have access to a scale. I am now a chaperone at band camp, and again, don't have access to a scale for our weigh in tomorrow. However, I did weigh myself this morning, and . . . . . . . the scale said . . . . . . 163! I…
  • While I don't have a smart phone, I have an Itouch, and this is something I am definitely interested in. Thank you so much for this type of app. It hadn't occurred to me to look for this, and trying to find nutrition information on the internet is not always the easiest!!
  • Monday Weigh-In: CW: 164.5!!!! A 2.5 lb. loss!!!! Finally the scale is moving again. For me, it's all about how much water I drink. So, I need to keep drinking like a fish! Good luck this week everybody!
  • Sorry I forgot to weigh in on Monday. Unfortunately for me, I am still the same. 167 Which is where I've been for what seems like forever. However, it's a new week, and I am determined to exercise every day (something I don't really like to do) and get in 8 glasses of water everyday (another thing I don't like to do).…
  • I felt the same way as you!! I've never had great success in losing weight in the past (although I have to admit that I really didn't try very hard). Then I found this site in the Apple App store. It's the best thing that's happened to me in the past few years! I too am looking to change my life style. I did not gain this…
  • Every journey begins with a single step, and you've already done that!! Congratulations on your success!! Even if the scale didn't more as much as you'd like, the inches lost is just as important. I have found that since starting MFP I am more aware of what I put into my mouth and nine times out of ten I find myself NOT…
  • I am in!!! SW: 167 Neck: 14 3/4" Waist: 35" Hips: 41" R. Thigh: 23 1/4" L. Thigh: 23 1/4" Looking to drop pounds and inches by Labor Day! Good Luck everyone! :flowerforyou:
  • Weigh in Monday - No loss for me. The inches are coming off, but no weight. I'm okay with with that, but it would be nice to see a little weight drop off. It's going to the "grandma's" houses on the weekends that are tempting me too much I'm afraid. Hopefully the next month will be better. Oh, and I am up for a Labor Day…
  • I was too busy last week, and forgot to weigh-in. Then I was out of town for the weekend at my in-laws and didn't get back until later last night. So, weigh-in today: 167 No loss. However, I did go out and buy me some new shorts, and I had to buy a size 10 because the size 12 was too big in the waistband!!!! I can't…
  • Monday Weigh-In (okay, I know, it's really Wednesday, but it's the last week of school here and it's been a bit crazy!) CW: 167!! Down 1.5 lbs. Total weight loss so far - 20 pounds!!! One more pound and I'm halfway to my goal weight. Keep up the good work everybody! Just one month to Independence Day, We can do it!!
  • Was gone over the weekend and didn't have a scale, so I actually didn't weigh in until this morning. CW - 168.5 down .5 Was hoping for more loss, because I was really careful with what I ate over the weekend, and walked every day, but I'll still take it. Hoping for more next week.
  • Monday Weigh-In I didn't weigh in last week because things were so crazy here. Suffice it to say, I did gain 2 pounds back in the week after being sick over Mother's Day weekend. However, today I am at: 169 So basically - no loss from the last time I weighed in, but this is actually a true assessment of where I really am,…
  • First, let me say how sorry I am about your loss. I won't pretend to know how you feel, but I do know how much pain it caused friends of mine. The grief is the same as any other loss and you are entitled to feel how you feel. I pray that one day you will find some peace. But, on a happy note, let's talk about that NSV! The…
  • The past week was s o v e r y l o n g! We went out of state for my cousin's wedding on Saturday and our entire family was affected with a stomach virus during some of the weekend.  It made for a long drive there, and an even longer drive back home. However, the weather and the wedding were both wonderful and it…
  • Monday Check-In: Weight: 173.5 down .5 for the week. I can't find the tape measure, but if I do, I'll post measurements later. I'm pleased that I lost a bit last week as it was a hectic week and weekend. Hope to get some of the challenges done this week, do better on water (I'm only averaging 4 cups/day), and eat…
  • I had been growing out my hair for about 18 months, and this shot was taken after I had it cut and donated it to "Children With Hair Loss." It's an organization similar to "Locks of Love", but CWHL will take as little as 8" of hair, they will take grey and color treated hair (which works well for me now!), and is based in…
  • I wanted to log in on Monday, but it's been a busy week. Please include my information: SW: 174 Neck: 15 1/4" Waist: 39 1/2" (Wow! I have not measured my waist in a long time and this is surprising!) Hips: 41 3/4" Thighs: 24 3/4" It will be interesting to see just how much things change between now and July 4! 10 weeks and…
  • I'm in! I'll post my weight and measurements tomorrow. :flowerforyou:
  • I would love to lose some. In a DDD you get very few "pretty" choices. Would love to get down to a D cup and get something a bit more exciting than the cantelope slingers I currently own!

  • March 1 - 52 Minute walk at the Y, 90 Minutes at the Grocery Store Total: 2 Hours, 22 Minutes I'm starting off good this month and look forward to continuing! Kelli
  • I hope it's not too late to join. I do fine with the food part - it's the exercise part that falls by the wayside. There's always an excuse. My starting weight is 184 (somehow I gained 2 pounds  ). It would be great to be 170 by Easter.
  • Count me in as well. My cousin is getting married May 7, so if I could drop 10 or more pounds by then, I would be thrilled! I do okay on the eating - my weakness is exercise. Too easy to make excuses not to do it. I need help getting that motivation.
  • Hi Yvonne! I too need an accountability friend! I am a mother of 4 (3 boys and 1 girl) ages 16, 12, 9, and 6 and turn 45 this month. I have finally decided that this is the year that I need to get serious about my own health. My triglycerides are too high and I've been treated for an underactive thyroid since 2006. For me,…
