I do the same thing, and the only negative effect I have is that it's very hard to go to sleep at night. I lay awake for way longer than I should. I would like to get up early and workout before work, but it's so hard to make myself get out of bed!

I'm 5'2" and I'm not trying to lose weight, but I'm trying to get fit. I have a pic, but don't know how to share it on here. Anyway, I reward myself with nail polish or something small. I also have a calendar where I write down the days I work out, so looking at it and seeing that I did well is a reward all on its own :)
