OP - I gain anywhere from 3-10 lbs the week before my period. I haven't found anything to help with this, it's just how it is for me and lord knows I've tried everything I could think of; Epsom salt bath, dandelion tea, drinking insane amounts of water.... nada. I just expect it, don't freak out about it, and move on…

SW: 210 GW: 200 1. Drink more water and less diet coke (check) 2. Get at least 10k steps a day 5 days a week, with a bonus goal of going over 12k as often as possible (check and check) 3. Resist the Halloween candy that will soon be flooding my office. (check) 4. Join the gym and get back to the elliptical and weight…

A year ago today I was 27 lbs heavier and had just started calorie counting for the second time. I was constantly hungry, living at the gym so I could "earn" extra calories to eat that day to stave off the constant hunger, and although losing weight, I was generally miserable. Now I'm much happier, hardly ever hungry, and…

I totally agree. There is a search function and this argument has been beaten to death until not even powdered bones of the horse is left.

I'm currently on a cheesecake fluff kick. So flippin easy to make and absolutely delicious! So far I've used sugar free white chocolate, s'mores, and vanilla. Trying the caramel this weekend. screwedonstraight.net/keto-desserts-cheesecake-fluff-edition/

I get them on Amazon, but even then, they come out to $2 a bar. They aren't something I eat every day by no means as they are pricey, but are pretty good for a quick breakfast or snack if I'm hungry (prefer the double chocolate chunk and the cookies and cream ones). You are going to have a hard time finding them less than…

The North remembers....... Eh, Floridian here. I'm looking forward to our 65 degree winter LOL. That being said, I stay cold these days. My boss doesn't know what to think. I know longer complain about being hot anymore. :)

I'd go with whichever makes you feel comfortable and you can stick with. Some people do better with a structured plan like WW's; others do better just counting calories. I did WW's when they had their flex point plan and I really liked it. This new one, not so much. Of course, MFP is free and for me, free always wins. :)

Well, I love me some cream cheese. I do not love the calories that come with the cream cheese, so if marscapone cheese is anything like that, then yeah.... best I never find it in my little tiny town LOL.

I'm 5"7, started at 237 and am now 210. I'm just a little at 3 months on plan. I'm averaging 2 lbs a week and I'm pretty okay with that. Everyone is different on the rate of loss though. My body loves to hold onto water, so I can go a week or two without seeing that scale drop at all, but I'm losing inches like crazy. And…

I miss a good pot of lima beans with sausage or ham.... But beans are too high on the carb list for me at the moment, save for green beans. I totally plan on adding them back in small doses when I get to maintenance.

2 meals. I started out eating breakfast, but when ketosis got strong, I quit doing that. I may occasionally have a Quest bar with my coffee, but that's rare. Now I eat a small lunch and a big dinner (or vice versa) and the occasional keto dessert before bed. On weekends, I usually only eat one large meal in the evening on…

GRATS! That's great. :D

You're a man with a plan, Dan! It's the bottom of the 9th, bases loaded, and you so got this dude!

So 5 years ago when I got married in Jamaica, I found the perfect dress for a beachy wedding. I had to order it from China and I sent them my measurements and waited two months for it to show up. In fact, I thought it wasn't going to arrive in time....Well, it did, with two weeks to spare and it was too little, even after…

allrecipes.com/recipe/238367/grilled-brussels-sprouts/ I love brussel sprouts. :) Asparagus with bacon is delicious too. I eat a lot of those steamable bags you can find; green beans, broccoli, and sprouts. Cabbage is really good cut up, cooked in a pot with a little bit of water, and a stick of butter, salt and pepper to…

No koolaid, but bacon. :) Everything is always better with bacon! I started out doing Atkins induction, but since that's pretty much keto and I was going to stay in induction a while anyhow, I figured I might as well just do Keto. I keep my carbs most days under 40 total, but on the occasion I go over it's never thrown me…

I'm losing weight for a baby, but not because of infertility issues (or any that I know of, never had problems in the past). I just feel like I'll have a healthier pregnancy and higher chances of a healthy baby in general if I'm not obese since I'm not in my 20's anymore. 20 more lbs to go to just be overweight. :) Looks…

Hmmm, I've been looking for something LC friendly to eat with spinach dip. Some of the above sound like viable alternatives!

I googled that, and OMG, it looks YUM! Picking up some Torani sugar free syrup tonight if I can find it. :)

Oooh, being able to wear my bridal set again will be the best NSV! It fits now, but my fingers swell something awful off and on during the day that I'm scared they'll get stuck on them. You do look like Sean Connery, @GaleHawkins :) I thought that too when I first saw your pic. I passed up German Chocolate Cake last night…

I use liquid splenda because no matter how hard I tried or little or lot I used, stevia was just yuck to me. I use Swerve (erythritol) to bake with when I make low carb sweet treats. Monk fruit doesn't taste too horrid, but I really like the liquid splenda. One or two drops max and it's plenty sweet.

I've been doing low carb and eating at 1200 calories for 3 months now, due to doctor's orders to manage blood sugar issues and weight for both me and my hubby. When I started I focused more on keeping carbs down then calories, but after I adjusted it was extremely easy for me to eat at 1200 without being hungry hardly at…

I love scuba. I'm hoping now that I've lost some weight and am overall healthier, I can actually take the certification class this fall. We have loads of great scuba places here in Florida to check out. I was in the dive club in high school and we'd go to Key West once a year to see the reefs. I can't wait to go back. :D…

Desk job here too, but I've made it a point to get up and move more and am blessed to have a job that lets me. I walk on my two daily breaks, about 20 min each, a mile each, with my coworkers. I walk to the restaurant I will eat at (small town) for lunch on days I don't go home. And after dinner I walk my dogs another 2-4…
