I'm doing this program exclusively on the treadmill. It's a great way for me to control my speed and make sure I don't over-exert myself and get discouraged. This program is awesome. I'm so happy I started it four weeks ago!

This happens to me but only when on the elliptical. I believe it's a circulation issue. Not sure what to do about it. Mine goes away immediately once I step off of the elliptical.

Her face probably feels disgusting.

I also use a version of this app (I have an iPhone). I have no complaints.

I'm 5'4" Current: 135 lb. Goal Weight: 115 lb.

How old is your grey hound? If it was a retired racer, that could be another clue as to why it doesn't really seem to enjoy running with you for longer than a mile.

I'm on week two. I am also addicted to this program. The app makes it so easy to follow too.

Your post actually made me feel a lot better. I'm on week two right now and was feeling embarrassed at the gym last night because my jogging was at 4.0 mph. The woman beside me ran 7 mph for 40 minutes straight and 8 mph for an additional 20 and I felt like such a chump doing my wimpy intervals beside her. :ohwell: But I…

I am very interested in purchasing JMBR but I am not allowing myself until I complete the C25K program. I'm not the most consistent person so I want to see this through first before I purchase another. I never got past week one in 30DS, I always got bored or my work schedule picked up. I would like to complete that first…

We were best friends for 2.5 years, we have been dating for 6 years (March 19th). So far he's not proposed so... that's as far as this story goes at this point. :)

I'm still in graduate school, although I graduate on May 12th so not for much longer! =)

I work full-time (four 10-hour shifts Wed-Sat), attend graduate school full-time (classes Monday nights and every other Saturday), and am finishing up my second internship (approximately 12-16 hours between Mondays and Tuesdays). I'm exhausted!

I'm much more concerned about acne than weight gain. I already have hormonal cystic acne so I have been too afraid to get the Mirena for fear that it will become much worse. Sucks having acne.

I'm 5'3.5" (used to be 5'4" but I shrank apparently) and so far I have lost 9 lbs eating mostly fruits, vegetables, and lean meats and alternating between the 30DS and using my freestyle gazelle, which is basically an elliptical without resistance and a wider range of motion. My goal is to get to 110 or 115 lb. I'm…

Congratulations! This is very inspirational!

In the context in which you are using the word "your" it should be spelled "you're," which means you are. Thank you.

This made me LOL. Seriously.

Registered Dietitians/Nutritionists are not doctors, I can assure you. RDs have a four-year degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. Then they take a license examination to become Registered Dietitians. Nutritionists vary and can have an associates degree with certifications, or a four-year degree. It all depends on the program…

I have the same issue with my significant other, who I also share an apartment with. He has terrible eating habits and for years it rubbed off onto me (resulting in a 30 lb gain over the course of almost 6 years). Now that I am doing something about it, he basically has to fend for himself, food-wise, if he doesn't want to…

I'm with everyone else. That doesn't make any sense. Of course you're going to burn more calories if you continue walking, moving around, etc. than if you're lying motionless in your bed. But does that mean the calories you burned during a workout somehow go back onto your body... uh, no.

You're wife is obviously very self-confident and/or trusts you a ton because there is no way I would be on board with that arrangement if it was my husband. Keep solid boundaries, is all I'm going to say. I imagine there is some hesitation on your part, or else you wouldn't be posting this question.

I recommend that you see a registered dietitian. He or she will be able to provide a meal plan that's tailored to your body and activitiy level.

My ultimate goal weight is between 108-110 lb. I weighed that for years and felt great.

The correct spelling is "account".

Could the moderators or the OP edit the title of this post? The incorrect spelling of "obese" is driving me crazy.

Depressing but true.

Yes, I adore Biblical/religious names. I think they're great.

I knew a woman named Stormy Knight and a girl named Jennika. Dannika is also an awful name. I try to keep an open mind, but I just really dislike the names Jennika and Dannika.

I definitely focus on my potassium and find it unfortunate/frustrating that most food labels aren't showing potassium levels of food. To ensure that I get enough potassium, I have incorporated foods that I know the potassium content in my daily intake.
